So so so close to the finish line!

Calli, Felicity, and I moved here to Manila in March 2003, and have had a wonderful ministry here all that time. We actually started ministry here in October 1997, 22 years ago.  We had bought the mission center and totally remodeled beginning in July 2008. On February 17th 2016, our mission center caught fire and was completed destroyed. We lost everything we had in the center including all our family heirlooms, pictures, and clothing, all but our night clothes on our backs, in less than an hour.  Worse than that, we lost our daughter Felicity, a 32 year old mother of two! That nearly killed all of us!

The fire is still consuming our lives. Every day we spend not in our home and mission center is a day that is stolen or consumed by the fire.  Every day reminds us, now we are so close to the finish line!  Sometimes it’s like I’m trying to get through the day to be one day closer to the finish of the building. We haven’t been able to leave for 3 years now to go back and see our family and friends in the US. When it’s done, it will be like taking the chains off of us. Amen?
It took 14 months to get an insurance claim from the insurance company here and we had to fight for every penny. That was horrible on top of everything else we were going through emotionally. During those 14 months we had to demolish what was left of our beautiful mission center. Calli and I were both committed to not let this knock this special ministry to the ground and we rose out of the ashes of that fire and tragedy to fight even harder than ever before.  Instead of slowing down the ministry we increased the number of seminars by going mobile and taking it to the pastors all over the Islands. In the mean time we continued to ready everything to rebuild on the land we owned.  We started the actual construction, getting the site ready even before we got the permits. Trouble is it took so much effort to obtain the permits we finally started building and hired a contractor October 2, 2017. Already weary and putting one foot in front of the other it’s been another 2 years of construction and we are nearly finished.  This year in March we had a trusted 15 year employee embezzle over $67,000 of our building fund leaving only $20,000 to finish.  We were blessed that everything was paid for, so we sold the school van, and Calli’s personal car for about $50,000 plus two nearly new motorcycles for $2,000. We have a F150 Ford 4 wheel drive ¾ ton truck that is our work horse for the ministry that we still have that we can sell for $10,000 or so, but we have been using that vehicle during the construction. I will sell it to finish if we need to.

The best we can tell, it’s going to take from here about $28,000. We are currently down to less than a $1,000 in our accounts. We will be broke before the week is out. Even if I sell the truck it will take time. So, here’s the good news, God has always provided, the provision comes from His Kingdom. You are all part of that Kingdom, so we are just letting you know that we are hurting for help at this time and we are very tired of the hurt. Don’t take us wrong we will not stop, we will not fail. We are committed to God’s vision of winning the world to the Lord one soul at a time. The Dunamis alumni is more than 30,000 soul winners and trainers, a formidable army that will kick the devil’s butt long after we are both (as Calli’s sister used to put it) on the other side of the grass! We love you and ask that you seek God about some help for us. Armies need provisions to fight the battle; we need partners to continue to wage this war. We are tired but when the burdens are lifted, we soar with eagles seeking the lost. Currently the Alumni of Dunamis wins 10’s of thousands monthly, probably more than a million per year.  We just need to keep rolling and taking territory from the enemy, never stopping, Amen?

Love you all, Tony and Calli

PS- We haven’t been home to see our grandchildren in over 3 years now and haven’t even met our great grandson except through pictures on Facebook. We are stranded here, tied to this construction until the center is finished. We are home sick for some hugs from y’all and them. Please keep us in your prayers. If you can’t help look for someone else to help!

There are 3 lots with tall 10ft. Walls that are being renovated! Still much work left.

working-on-gates

Front Gate for garage being put together then painted, huge work, all reused wrought iron (from old mission center) and new pipe!

front-door

Front doors and all the stone both around the entry and walk ways. Garage and driveway close to being finished.

finishing-kitchen

All 156 cabinet doors and closet doors and drawer facings were just delivered. Now they are being hung throughout the center, and then will be taken down and painted!

duo-image

Left photo: Rear wall between our house and the extra lot being installed (starting with digging the foundation) plus extra driveway for parking! That wall is 53 ft long and will be 9 ft tall. Parking area, 35ft. long 14 ft wide. This is important for classes and people coming from all over to attend classes.
Right photo: flights of stairs with rails and spindles and all the trim etc. needing finishing.

service-area

Utility Area and bath in rear yard, including space for pressure tank, generator, and pump for water cistern. Finishing tile, painting, roof flashing etc. Plus installation of the pressure tank and generator and the electrical box for the generator switch (we still have these from the original garage that was spared from the fire).
Additional work to be done is refurbishing all the perimeter walls from the inside and finishing the front. That will be 2 to 3 weeks of labor plus more paint. Still have some leaks on the 3rd level that we are trying to get fixed. To make a long story less long we still have 6 weeks to 2 months of work to be finished. This place will be a real testament to the Lord when it is finished. Guys it will be a permanent presence here in the Philippines which is the heart of Asia. We can launch our training seminars to all parts of Asia from here. This is God’s carrier for launching strikes. We need ammo and missiles, to destroy the work of the enemy worldwide! The devil has us underestimated! Greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world! Praise God!

trash-truck

Create in me a clean heart!

Over the last months we have loaded countless trash trucks with the debris and garbage from the build site and had it hauled away. Just as we have had to haul out all that trash and keep the site clean to see the mission center soon to be completed, so we must throw off and allow to be hauled off all the garbage in our spirit so we can be made complete in the Lord! (He who has begun a good work in you will complete it…) Phil. 1:6.

Lord, we shed off all doubt and unbelief, all worry. You, oh Lord, supply all our need according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Phil 4:19) … where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. (Matt. 6:20) Praise the Lord!! Jesus, keep our build site (our hearts) clean before You! “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10) Transform us from glory to glory! Heaven renowned seminar taught
in world renowned surfing spot!

Daet, the capital of the province of Camarines Norte, Philippines has a population of 104,799 people. The municipality is a popular surfing spot among surfers worldwide. The Dunamis team just completed an 8-9 hours (oneway) land trip to Daet using the school van. Twenty six graduated from the Stealth Evangelism Program and more than 1000 souls were led to the Lord using the tool that was given to them during the 3 days of practicums (street one-on-one evangelism).

Everyone who shared their testimonies were very grateful to what they called a “God given anointed tool” and “friendly yet powerful method of soul winning”. They were able to win their family members whom they have been trying to reach for a long time but won them now using the Stealth method.

Street evangelism in Daet

For Pastora Louisa, this is God’s answer to her prayers to be equipped and empowered in evangelism and discipleship. She regained her confidence because this tool proved to be non negotiable, a lost soul cannot say no nor reject the offer to pray and receive salvation. More so, it made her so excited to train her team so she can multiply herself and create a team of reapers and achieve church growth and plant more churches in less time.

A leader, who has a calling to be a Pastor, and our class top soul winner, has just realized that there are so many people who need to hear the Gospel but less and less people who share the Gospel. The new souls he won requested follow up visit from him in the form of a regular Bible Study, Praise the Lord!

Thelma, on the other hand had a change of heart!!!The Lord touched her heart and she felt compassion to the lost, thereby, committing herself to never stop in finding the lost and leading them to Jesus. Pastora Mary Ruth confessed she committed the sin of apathy and repented. Now she will be having a lifestyle of evangelism.

remy-teaching
The greatest need in the world is the need for the Gospel; the greatest work on earth is to preach the Gospel. As we support the greatest work on earth to fill up the greatest need in the world, we are assured that we will also be rewarded by our Great God who is faithful and whom we can never out give, for after all, He gave His Only Begotten Son to redeem us.

Thank you great people of God who continue to believe in the works of this Ministry. You are a part of every single soul we win wherever we are, as we saturate the nation with the Gospel and eventually Win the Philippines, and Win the World for Jesus!! All glory to God, forever and ever. Amen

Note from Pastor Tony:

On June 10th, 1997, Dr. James Maloney from Christ for the Nations in Dallas prophesied over me that night at Community Church in Hereford, Texas. Part of this big prophecy was the following excerpt:

He said, “Whoa, exceeding great armies will be raised up under your ministry! They will be the Living Epistle (If you are born again you are a Living Epistle of the Lord) known and read of Me, and they will be your ministry.”

Awesome Call of God
to reach the world with the gospel!

That prophecy was given 21 years ago. At that time, I was still in the real estate business but God had already extended His call on my life that April 1997 and I had accepted. The prophecy didn’t make sense to me at the time, but 5 years later we moved to the Philippines to step into the prophecy that was about to begin. When we came here we started a school by the name of Dunamis International School of Missions.

We have now been in this call for 21 years of our lives and it is speeding up not slowing down. We are ready to have another team of trainers working with our current team as soon as the new mission center is complete. We need financial support to do another team which will hasten the coming of our Lord through the spreading of the Gospel.

Win the Philippines
Win the World!

I would like to explain as simply as possible what winning the Philippines means to the world and the spreading of the Gospel. They are a unique nation in that they are welcome as contract laborers all over world in nearly every nation. Right now, there are approximately 12,000,000 Filipinos abroad doing contract labor both skilled and unskilled. So if we win the Philippines to the Lord, we will have the largest tent maker missionary force (Living Epistles of God) in all time. Thus our slogan, “Win the Philippines, Win the World!”

Millions have already been born again in this nation since we began the school in 2003. You can be a part of the winning of the world to Jesus by sowing monthly into this ministry. None of the funds that are received go to Calli and I. All money goes to reach the lost! Please hear the cry of the lost throughout the world and send what you can monthly. No amount is too small or too big, we will use it. We need help now.

R.O.C.K.

This coming year we want to form a foundation called R.O.C.K. to make sure that Dunamis will continue till Jesus comes, Amen? R.O.C.K. stands for Remnant Of Christ’s Kingdom! In the Bible God most always uses the remnant to bring Glory to Himself and His Kingdom! Gideon went from an army of 32,000 down to 300 which was the remnant of the Lord to do battle with 120,000 Amalekites! You can be a part of the Remnant of the Lord by financially supporting the training of God’s soldiers to do the battle for men’s souls. Hallelujah!

Love to you all,
Tony and Calli Poole

Progress on the new Mission Center

All we can say is Wow! The new mission center is going to have a foundation that could handle up to 6 stories! It will be so much better than what we even dreamed. My contractor (Ivy) is a born again Christian that plays the keyboard at Victory Church here at the Acacia Hotel in Alabang where we are attending church. They are putting a foundation in that will be a huge deterrent to earth quakes which are possible in the future.

Above: Pastor Tony checking on the workers! Which he does several times a day, plus we have our Dunamis employee Julius that has been with us nearly 15 years as our all-around man. He is doing an excellent job of making sure the workers are busy and all accounted for daily. No messing around with Julius there. It helps that we live on the lot next to the building site. By the way our Engineer (Paolo) goes to Victory Church in Tagaytay. He is the one that designed the foundation. I’m so thankful God brought Christian men to help us build His Mission Center.

Above: Filipino workers mixing cement and gravel the old way for a footing.

pillar-duo
You can see in these two pictures the workers working on the massive columns of the house! Under the column is a huge footing with tie beams inner locked with each other all the way across the structure. The center will have 2 stories with a large office, bath, and dorm room on the 3rd level built into the attic areas which are really large, so basically a 3 story. This will give us almost the same capacity as the former building did yet all areas are better utilized and more cost efficient to air-condition. Plus modern fire prevention materials used to make it much safer than the old center. The Lord says all things work together for the good of those that love the Lord and are called unto His purposes. There are still questions in our hearts about this tragic event happening in our lives, but we feel God will reveal to us in time the “work together for the good part”, Amen?

War Machine a “Permanent Presence” in Asia

Remember because we couldn’t use the old foundations after excavating them we determined that it would cost and additional $15,000 to build the new columns, footings, and tie beams. We are mentioning this again in this newsletter in case you would like to invest some seed into the foundations of a soul winning machine like Dunamis International Mission Center here in Manila, giving us a permanent presence in Asia. It is a war machine for the Lord in the Battle for Men’s Souls. You can take this eternal opportunity by sowing into the very foundations of the new Center. Construction is going full blast right now, so please HELP us!!!!! God is our provider. Amen?!! So far we have received $1,500.00 towards the foundations.

remy-&-rose

Pastora Remy & Pastora Rose ready to board pump boat.

Dunamis Staff in Lanao del Norte Mindanao for Batches 1817 & 1818

Stealth Evangelism would not be here without the support of generous people whose heartbeat is exactly the same as the heartbeat of Jesus for finding the lost souls. Thank you for sowing into the 2,500 souls that were won in several locations, first in Laoac, Pangasinan in Luzon Island and 2 classes in Lanao del Norte, Northern Part of Mindanao. Still deeply moved and touched from the results of the 2nd class in Maranding, Lala, Lanao del Norte, held on June 18-20, we are resolved to continue to saturate this island before BBL or Bangsamoro Law is about to be passed for final approval. The Bangsamoro Law will turn over a huge section of Mindanao Island to the Muslims for their governance. I totally disagree with the Philippines signing over of any land to the Muslims or any single people group. Hence, there is more urgency to win souls as 9 out of 10 are lost. No excuses, no reason for any form of delay!!! Glory to God! Maranding is one of the 27 barangays of Lala in the province of Lanao del Norte, Northern island of Mindanao. This is 60km away from Marawi City, previously struck by war and under martial Law just a few months back, our team landed on Ozamis airport, did a pump-boat ride to Lanao del Norte where we were to do Batch 1817.
Batch 187

Batch 1817 Graduation Class

Batch 1817 included 20 pastors, old and young, but they all had one common denominator which is their desire to intensify their service to the Lord through the Great Commission. They had been hungry for souls but did not know how to do it powerfully and effectively.

Pastor Rey, in the beginning complained about doing the practicums, he felt as if he were going back to his younger days when he was sharing the Good News boldly to everyone he met, but then he had a breakthrough in his passion and commitment to win souls as he was revived from the joy of seeing people saved like never before.

class-trio

Left: Pastora Remy teaching. Center: Pastora Rose helping students during class. Right: Jannen and her daughter during first day of class.

Mommy wins Daddy to the Lord!

Jannen Claire, a lady on fire to serve God attended the first day with her baby. Her husband went to work and she had no one to look after her baby during the first day of training.  She was flawless in her presentation. Coming home after her training she won her husband to the Lord and the next day attended the second day of the class without the baby. The Lord touched her husband to stay home and baby sit so she could attend the seminar and fully focused. Praise the Lord!

Passion for souls leads to healing!

Merilita, has a very intense longing to attend the seminar. She had to collect sea shells early morning from the sea shore so she could pay for her transportation and for the seminar’s registration fee. While doing that, her right foot was strained and she came to the class limping. When the group was sent out to the harvest field she went without any qualms nor second thought. Lo and behold, before her first soul was won, she felt healing in her leg and she walked normally without limping or feeling pain!! Glory to God!! He is faithful and truly how beautiful are the feet of those who bring Good News!!! I thank God for the lives of our supporters of any form, prayers, cash or pledges! Without them we would not be able to receive blessing of hearing our student’s testimonies of how the seminar impacted their lives. We stand tall and mighty proud as God sent us people with generous hearts to make this possible. Truly God will not only “make their feet beautiful” but He promised in Matthew 28:18-20 that as we obey the Great Commission, HE WILL BE WITH US even to the end! May this promise be fulfilled in our lives until the end has come! Every time a soul is won, you who sow in this has a part. Let us all join hands to Win the Philippines, Win the World for Jesus!!He is always with us come what may!!! Thank you Lord! –   – Pastora Remy Mordeno

“Lift up your eyes and see”

One Pastor at 64 years old from Batch 1818 has been a church goer since she was four years old. She was born again at 17 years old and became a pastor at 21. After 43 years she won souls during the first practicum of the seminar and continued winning through the next 3 practicums becoming an avid soul winner. She was crying for the many years she wasted for not even doing evangelism at all. “…forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Phil. 3:13-14

Note from Tony: You know this is not uncommon amongst our pastors and leaders in the seminars, most have never won souls like this and are so emotional about this special gift being given to them through the training. Most Christians have not done a lot (if any) soul winning, because we haven’t known what to say which causes fear of rejection. Fear of rejection is the #1 reason people do not witness! Stealth Evangelism teaches our students what to say in a very simple way and opens the eyes of the believer to the harvest field. Remember the scripture John 4:35, “Lift up your eyes and see that the fields are white and ready for harvest”. Dunamis is putting the sickle in the hands of the sower so he can reap! The only difference between the sower and the reaper is the sickle.   – Pastor Tony Poole

Do you have any war stories?

Friends when you get to heaven our war stories about winning 10’s of thousands and millions of souls to the Lord will be your war stories when you sow into this ministry. All the money given to this ministry goes to the ministry of training God’s army to win the nations to the Lord. Please make a decision to help populate the Kingdom of God with the souls of men on earth. We only get one shot at this life brothers and sisters. Only one time can we live it! Let’s spend our time and resources making sure that more people enter into the gates of heaven because of all our efforts.

“The only thing you take to heaven is the souls of men!”   – Pastor Tony Poole!
