Pastor Tony teaching Stealth Evangelism Seminar
in Surigao City, Mindanao Island

Pastors lives are changed forever!

April of last year the Lord lead me to revise the training manuals for our school curriculum. We finished, printed and started using them in May. Wow, is all I can say. They really changed the retention levels of the pastors and leaders taking the course. The Lord spoke to me at that time and said that it was, “Ready”! Meaning it was time to start training the big groups that I had held off promoting to for so many years. I didn’t have a go ahead from the Lord until then. Now when the Lord says, it’s ready, believe it! Retention is up 80 to 90% for the average student. That means it can be transferred to anyone. The students are so excited about having the opportunity to join the seminar. You can see it in their faces and in the things they are saying that they are impacted to the depths of their souls. Almost every pastor we train says, “My Life will never be the same!” and, “You’ve changed my life forever!”

Well, I don’t know about you, but that means a lot to us, when we do everything we can to keep these trainings going every month. Another amazing outcome of these seminars are the numbers of souls being saved just during the classes. This doesn’t include the perpetual souls that continue to come into the kingdom for years to come, nor all the soul winners that are trained by our students in their respective churches after they graduate. The numbers of souls coming into the Kingdom of God by the impact of this ministry is staggering to say the least.

I’d like to share with you about our most recent mobile Stealth Evangelism Seminar we conducted in Surigao City. It was batch #100 and we had the most participants since we began training Pastors and leaders in 2008.

Batch 100

5111 Souls come to the Lord in Surigao!

That’s right, 5111 people came to know Jesus in the 3 day seminar we held in Surigao City, Mindanao Island the last of February! We had 78 students. There were 53 pastors and 25 Bible school graduates getting ready to start churches that took the course. What exactly does that mean? It means 53 pastors were trained with the current most effective evangelism tools they could have received, making each one a multiplier and powerful soul winner themselves. Hey, you can feed a man daily and that’s really nice, but if you teach him how to fish and where to fish, etc….he becomes a fisherman and he can feed himself the rest of this life! These pastors can go back, train their members and build their churches through the harvest!

His ways are not our ways!

Surigao City was the first place I preached to pastors in the Philippines back in 1997. It was a difficult trip. In fact I told Calli after that trip, “I shall not return”! Well we finally made it back to Surigao and more than 5,000 people were saved during the seminar. I guess the Lord had another Idea, Amen?

It’s Time!

The point I want to make here is that it is time to take this Stealth Evangelism Program to the far corners of the Philippines and beyond! We need supporters to give a monthly pledge to help make this happen every month till Jesus comes. Dunamis has a small but powerful staff and many volunteers from pastors to leaders in the church body. So we operate very lean. When you sow dollars into this ministry, it goes right to the training of pastors and leaders to multiply themselves and build the Kingdom of God! That’s right you get a big bang for your bucks! I would say indelibly that 5,111 souls is a big bang wouldn’t you?

Seminar requests from 12 different cities
and counting!

Right now we have requests to do mobile seminars in 12 cities on several different Islands. The list is growing weekly. Calli and I can no longer do the mobile seminars without financial help. We’ve exhausted our resources, but not our heavenly Source! We know God will provide. The flood gates are opening. To do a seminar and fly our team in with all the materials and conduct the seminar with the same standard of quality our school in Manila has, we need to have an increase of $1500 to $3000 per month added to our budget, so we can do 1 maybe 2 mobile seminars each month. We can train more pastors in a mobile seminar than in the Mission Center in Manila. More pastors means more churches are being impacted, which means more souls brought into the Kingdom! Please pray about your part in building the Kingdom of God, whatever God leads you to do, please do it now! Any pledge of any size is vital to helping reach these pastors and winning the lost. Today is the day of Salvation, Amen?

Love from all of us, Tony

My life is being changed!

Pastor Ruben Salado, Christian Assembly of Praise Church, Surigao

I have been to seminary for 4 years, have a college degree, have attended different kinds of seminars and trainings. I have been a pastor for almost 19 years but I found myself very, very poor in the area of evangelism. But today I made a breakthrough! My life is being changed because of this Dunamis International School of Missions. I managed to evangelize a number of people that I have not been able to before. Although it is shameful, I would like to admit that this is the largest number of souls I have ever witnessed to and ushered to the Lord. I am so thankful that God allowed me to attend this unique kind of training. I found now myself effective in doing one on one evangelism by using the powerful weapon, the “357 Magnum.” This kind of tool is easy to apply and very effective. I will use this tool for the rest of my life.

Thanks and God bless to Ptr. Tony, Ptr. Al and Ptra. Remy who devote their time, money and abilities in order to train pastors and leaders. I appreciate your sacrifices. The almighty God, our Lord Jesus Christ will surely reward you all. To God be all the glory!!!

Take the opportunity to share!

Jimmy B. Capayas, associate pastor, Charismatic Full Gospel Assembly, Surigao City

I’ve been through many seminars … but this is the best technique to tell the Gospel in a very simple way. In 5 to 7 minutes the Gospel is already presented!

Pastor Tony challenged us to know your calling. The story of the forgotten woman who died without hearing about Jesus directly touched my heart because I had a friend who just died last Feb. 4, 2015 but I never had a time to share the Gospel. My heart is aching, but I have learned the importance of taking the opportunity to share…

Tony & I with mom this past August.

Homecoming for our biggest fan

Sue Bemis August 1, 1921 – January 30,2014

My mom passed away Friday evening, January 30th. She was 93 and was always our biggest fan. She loved to get our newsletters and loved to share them with her friends. I thank the Lord for her. As a single mom she raised me in church where I found the Lord. She was such a giver her whole life, she taught me to tithe from the very first dollar I made. She was both a precious lady of God and the greatest mom I could have ever had. It was such a blessing to have her support, my only regret is that we had to sacrifice our time with her this last decade in order to do the work God called us to do here in the Philippines. Yet, her door was always open to us when we were able to return to the states every year or two and we valued that special time of being with her after so much time apart. She was an incredible woman, strong, caring, and independent, amazingly living on her own until the age of 92. We know she is in a better place now, where her earthly body isn’t holding her back anymore. She lived a long fruitful life and was ready to go home to be with Jesus.

I looked up the scripture she had listed as her favorite reading in her notes for her final wishes. It was Romans 10:14-15. Wow, of all the scriptures she could have chosen. “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

Mom will always be an important part of our ministry, and the seeds she planted will continue to produce a harvest for endless years to come. I Love you, Mom, and I will miss you dearly…I already do. – Calli

Mom, It’s been amazing the transition we had in our lives from you being mother in law to mom after my precious mother past years ago. I was amazed by your strength and Godly character. All your life, you were a giver to the church, friends and your family. You gave of yourself to all your family and friends. I will really miss seeing you when we go to the states. Like Calli, I loved staying with you when we were there. You and I became mates in the 39 years I’ve been married to your precious loving daughter. Thanks mom, for being there for us through good weather and bad, always a loving mom to Calli, me, and the kids. All of us miss you already! – Tony

Surigao City

Surigao City was the first place I preached in the Philippines in October 1997. We were there for more than a week then traveled to Palawan Island for more than a week. All in all we were here for 3 weeks. When I got on the plane to come home I looked over at Calli while I was adjusting the air-con in the ceiling and said these infamous words that were not at all prophetic, “Calli, I shall Not return!” I believe I miss called the future somewhat. Here we are more than 17 years later and we’ve lived in the Philippines 12 years now! We first returned in 1999. I-eeeee! The shall not return must have been for the US eh?

100 Pastors to be trained next week in Surigao!

We are traveling down south to Surigao on Mindanao Island to do a 100 Pastor seminar on February 24-27. I’m sending in an advance team on the 23rd to train 10 monitors for it. This is the largest pastors seminar we’ve attempted to do, because of our standard we set. We know what it takes to accomplish this and we are very excited about this one. That means we will impact 100 churches in one 3 day seminar! This will give these pastors the tools and weapons to conduct trainings and create reapers clubs in all their churches. This will make them all grow exponentially through the harvest of souls, Amen?  They will be building their churches upon the “Rock” so they can withstand all the storms of life.

It is costing us about $1,000  including airfares  for staff and volunteers to do this seminar. The group of pastors we are training are with Jesus Reigns Church here in the Philippines and they are shouldering the rest of the costs for food and venue and accommodations. The seminar itself will cause around 6,000+ people to be saved, then ongoing evangelism when the pastors start reapers clubs in their respective churches. This will account for 100 plus souls being won through each church every month. The numbers will be staggering. This is the beginning of huge waves of evangelism that will break out everywhere we have mobile seminars. We need your help  monthly to do these seminars . Please consider partnering with us  to reach  millions of souls.

If you don’t have the funds to help financially, you may know someone that does have the ability to help and would love to hear about this awesome Kingdom building ministry. You could share with them about what we are doing and the fact that we need help. We could do so many more mobile seminars impacting even more pastors and churches if we had the funds to do it. It cost us for the average seminar where we have to travel off this Island about $1,200 to $1,500 according to the size. Surigao was cheaper because of the churches’ participation. Regardless, what an opportunity for Christians to sow into the Kingdom of God helping reach the lost through equipping our men and woman of God. There are people looking for good ground to sow into. We believe with all our heart this is really good ground. We are impacting so many churches which causes them to grow and many churches being planted because of this awesome training. If any of you would like to come and experience this training and the Philippines just call or email us at tcp1976@aol.com or magic jack telephone number 1-806-416-2313. That number will reach me here and is free from your cell phone.

Love you all, Tony

Tony Poole Teaching

Tony training pastors in Baguio last week.

Stealth Evangelism arrived
in Baguio City Feb 12-14, 2015

Baguio City known for its cold temperature is now neutralized with the fire of Evangelism in the hearts of pastors who attended the three day program of Stealth Evangelism. Organized by National Auxiliary Chaplaincy Philippines (NACPHIL) Pastor Oscar Joaquin. The event took place at Harvest Network Center, in Brgy Itogon, Tuding, Benguet which was attended by pastors of different churches, including Jesus Reigns and places as far as Dagupan City.

It was our batch 99. They won 759 new souls to the Lord and did 496 presentations, amidst the cool temperature of 15 degrees Celsius. They shared the Good News to people from all walks of life including the poorest of the poor. This was God’s appointed time as He brought them the people who needed Him most at that time. One of which was a 17 year old girl who was contemplating having an abortion because her boyfriend had run away. After she accepted the Lord Jesus as her Lord and Savior and counseling with one of the pastors, she and the pastor agreed to keep in touch and to accept another visit. Another one was a 19 year old girl in a severe depression stage, she was a backslider and agreed to have a Bible Study group in her area with the sharing Pastor. These Pastors kept all the contact numbers of the new souls won for them to follow up and disciple.

A day after leaving Baguio, I received calls from pastors who had heard of the success of the Stealth Evangelism Program and were moved to request that the training be brought to their places in Dagupan, Zambales and Tarlac. They too, were infected with the disease of winning souls through the graduates of the Baguio Stealth Evangelism training and wanted to be taught how to be contagious believers!
Every time a batch is completed, the more I feel the sense of urgency to OCCUPY TIL HE COMES! (Luke 19:13) I feel so privileged to be part of the team who is training God’s remnant!

Our first practicum…what a
challenging moment!

Pastora Margarita B. Comila
Jesus Reigns Ministries, Tayug, Pangasinan

When I received the text message from Dunamis International about the Stealth Evangelism Seminar being held in Baguio, I was curious, “What is Stealth?” Praise God, the instructor described what the Stealth meant extremely well during the first session of the seminar, and I was excited to continue . I captured the theme of the course during the first lecture and became silent and praised the Lord in my heart because several months ago I was thinking, praying, and planning new strategies on how we would improve our evangelism thrust in our church. Another thing that struck me was that I’m a pastor and had attended many trainings and seminars, yet I’ve never been to seminar of this standard or caliber where I was enlightened so much on evangelism.

As we began our practicum (evangelism exercises) we proceed to a park together, “Oh, what a challenging moment!” Some people ignored us, others would listen then reject what we are sharing. None the less, almost all souls I’ve approached accepted Jesus as their Savior. Praise God! The practicum was worth the effort!

During the lectures and practicums, I was getting excited to return to my church and share and apply all that I have learned, and I’m looking forward to seeing more souls added to our church, and more workers and more finances for more ministry!

Lastly I’m so grateful to the Lord for bringing me to another level/deeper dimension of serving Him in His vineyard. Thank God for the life of Pastor Tony and all Dunamis Intl. Staff.

Pastor Randy C. Alcantara

“I thank God that Dunamis International School taught us this “357 Magnum” evangelism tool. I believe this very precise and concise evangelism tool will change our nation as we apply it in our assigned areas. Stealth Evangelism is a very simple presentation and yet a very powerful technique to share the Good News of the Kingdom of God. Honestly with only three days training, my frame of reference on winning souls increased more than before. I will highly recommend this tool. God bless Dunamis! Your labor in the Lord is not in VAIN!”

It is just getting to know the proper approach and the right message. I found it in here, the Stealth Evangelism Program of Dunamis International School of Missions. This program has given me more hope to win my city for Jesus Christ. I am now confident that God would give me more souls to win, our churches will grow, and we will reach our goals.”

Pastor Julio ‘July’ Brazas
City of God Church, Lian, Batangas

Praise God! Stealth Evangelism Program through its 357 Magnum strategy helped me a lot in rekindling the passion for lost souls without fear because it’s an easy and strategic way of sharing the Gospel directly using Jesus’ own words from the Holy Bible. Using this method, only a few among thousands will refuse the Lord, because they hear and read what Jesus says in the Bible, that “You must be born again!”

Thank you Dunamis International School of Missions for igniting the passion of Filipino Christians to win the Philippines, win the world! God bless you more!

Felicity Privado

“Crowd Mentality”

By Felicity Privado

Many Ministries today are suffering from what is described as “Crowd Mentality” or “Diffusion of responsibility” which is a socio-psychological phenomenon whereby a person is less likely to take action when others are present. The individual assumes others are taking action or have already done so. It tends to happen when the amount of people in a group rises to a certain size and rarely occurs when a person is alone.

To understand what crowd mentality is here is an example: Even with pretty much every person owning a cell phone nowadays, a person could die while injured amongst a crowd of 20 onlookers simply because everyone assumes the person beside them has called for emergency services, and if each person assumes the same it results in no calls for help.

“How this affects ministries”

How this affects ministries is much the same, when ministries send out pleas for support to a long list of contacts. It wouldn’t matter if the ministry asked for as little as 5 people to give $10. the chances are that even though 400 of the 1,000 subscribers feels the desire to give, the phenomenon of diffusion of responsibility kicks in and they assume that since so many others must be responding to the plea that there is no need for themselves to participate. Unfortunately, the end result is an unanswered need.

In our almost 12 years over here we have trudged through the recession and poor economy along with everyone else. We are not ashamed to say that along with the hard times that our support base is a mere fragment of what it once was despite the amount of moral support for the work and what is being accomplished for the kingdom here having grown epically.

“Rome wasn’t built in a day”

At this time, most of our finances come from the monthly social security of my father. It takes every bit of it to pay the mission center payments and some of the bills, but it is never enough to cover everything. I admire my parents for everything they have sacrificed to keep this place going. Words can never describe how proud I am of them for refusing to cancel classes even when the funds were not there to hold them. This is a long tireless work, a work that all of us believers should be pursuing. Rome wasn’t built in a day, well neither was God’s kingdom filled in one either. There is always room for more souls and that is what we are here for, to show as many people the path to Christ as we can while we are on this earth, and to pass our knowledge along to those who will continue doing the same work long after we are gone and until the Lord returns.

It is our desire to do this to the end, but for this to happen we do need help. We give the ministry all we have. There is no cushy salary for my family, nor a retirement account set up for my parents to live off of in later years. All they have, and had has been invested in pursuing this endeavor, and what better to invest in than the souls of men. If you were to ask them, I know that despite the hardships, that you would never hear any regret in our decision to answer this call, and to live this life. Before this we lived a very self-involved existence, but now we have a true purpose, and it is one of the most fulfilling ways to live.

“Break the diffusion of responsibility”

In the end what I am trying to convey is a simple admission that we need help, and I hope that my attempt to express transparency in how our finances are does not come across as whiney, but as an honest showing of the painful truth we face. We desire to be able to run smoothly, without debt having to accumulate over our heads constantly just to keep going. The Lord has been faithful and though the waters have often been troubled He has never once let us sink. We want everyone to please listen to that still small voice within you, even if you think an amount as small as $5 a month could not possibly matter, can you imagine if 500 people decided to do that? That would be $2,500 a month. Nothing is too small or too large. Don’t let the assumption that others are already taking up the gauntlet stop you from taking the step to help. Let’s break the diffusion of responsibility phenomenon. Not everyone is called to move to a foreign country and be a missionary (though all of us are called to be a witness to those around us) but don’t let that stop you from being a part of what is happening here, to share in the impact and reaping of souls into the kingdom.

On an end note, I’d like to put out a special designated plea to help get over the hump of year end expenses. December is admittedly the hardest month for us. On top of our regular expenses, property taxes, insurance renewals, and government mandatory staff bonuses etc…all come due during this time. We would be grateful for any additional contributions during this time.

“We appreciate you!”

For those of you who have stuck with us for all these years with your interceding and support. We want you to know how much we appreciate you! We wouldn’t be here without your unwavering loyalty to this cause. You continue to be such a blessing!

Merry Christmas all of you! We love you, Felicity Privado
