More fish in the boat than he expected!

(In last month’s newsletter you were able to read about Pastor Rey Marzo, who had just taken the Stealth Evangelism course. The following testimony is what he shared with us after he had gone back to his church and trained his own members just as he had been taught here at Dunamis.)

This is the day of salvation! Thanks be to God who makes all things possible in His time! After finishing the course in Stealth Evangelism, I testified that “Revival is already at hand!” Today, I would say, “Surely indeed, to God be the glory, honor and praise!” One week after I attended the seminar at Dunamis, on January 23, I conducted the Stealth Evangelism seminar in my local church. I was expecting around 12 to 15 attendees, but it turned out to be more than double, 32 of my disciples, workers and asst. pastors arrived for the class. To my amazement a new convert also joined us. She was 65 years old and had just accepted Jesus the day before the seminar. The seminar was from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Afterwards we went to the small market just close to our church. Beyond my expectation! Beyond my imagination! They were able to make 100 presentations and brought in 256 souls into the Kingdom in just one hour. Hallelujah! There was great rejoicing in every corner and in each and every heart and face who experienced the great moving of the Holy Spirit! “This is indeed the day of salvation!” Glory! Revival is at hand!” Praise be to the Living God, Who is the Author of all revivals, to Him be Glory to God in the highest! Yes, there was some rejection, yes, there was some fear in their hearts at first. Yet, no rejection and no fear had hindered the works of our Almighty God!

Now what do we expect? More jobs to do! Visitation, and Bible studies, everyone is busy. More fish in the boat than we expected! We have had two Sundays already that the church is filled with people! As a matter of fact, last Sunday we prepared the mezzanine of the church to accommodate more souls to come this following Sunday and the next Sundays to come. In addition, I saw and experienced such a high intensity of praise and worship in every one of the worshippers.

I could not contain all the amazing things that God is doing, so I told my co-pastors in our community to join this Stealth Evangelism and they are all interested. Thanks to God for the life of Rev. Tony Poole and to all the brethren who continue to support this program. May God bless you all! We need your prayers and support.

Missionaries Pastor John & Wanda Casias Murdered in Mexico!

Precious friends of ours, John and Wanda Casias moved to El Cercado, Mexico in 1983 and started a missionary work there. When the Lord spoke to him and told him he was going to be a missionary, he told Wanda, she asked only what they would take and when they would leave.

I knew John from the early 70’s

I knew John from the car business back in the early 70’s we worked together at Sid Stout Ford. John kept witnessing to me and he always told me Jesus was the answer to my problems. I was so messed up as a single father, and lost as a goose in a snow storm. I have always attributed my salvation to two men, and John was one them. The other was Ed Shubert who was also witnessing to me and actually prayed the prayer with me in 1975. After I got saved I went to John and told him that all the seed that he had planted sprouted, HaHa! I thank God for those two men, and heaven is going to be lined with souls that they are responsible for having a significant part in winning through my life and many others after me.

“Well done thy good and faithful servants!”

It hurt deeply to hear of John and Wanda’s tragic deaths, but I’ve heard that his sons are stepping up to fill his shoes and keep that ministry going. We will never forget John and Wanda for their precious sacrifice. Greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for a friend. Wanda once said to her son John Jr. “We are called to Mexico, these are our people”. They spent almost 30 years giving their lives to them! Yeah John and Wanda! Please pray for their family, they had 10 children and a boat load of grandchildren. We know they are blessed being with the Lord now and Jesus is saying to them “Well done thy good and faithful servants!” They have a lot of war stories to tell for an eternity with all the other saints, Amen? — Tony

God’s word for me for 2012 “Change your gear!”

As I was praying to the Lord this year about what His leading would be for 2012, God gave me a word and that was “Change your gear”, or change my paradigm. I kept praying and He spoke to me “Soul winning program” for our congregation has suffered from a church split…My wife and I were in our sixth month of pastoring our church and while I was praying and asking God about His plan and purpose for our church…a pastor friend called the wife of our Senior pastor and shared about this “Stealth Evangelism”

A Weapon that will Set the Captives Free!

Pastora Eva Claudio
Associate Pastor, My Master Seed of Faith Church, San Jose del Monte, Bulacan

Actually, I had forgotten about signing up for this training because of so many activities in the church. But I thank God because He reminded me of it so I was able to attend the Stealth Evangelism training. I can say that there was a big difference in the method of evangelizing in this “Are You Born Again” tool than what we normally used before. It will be a big help to us (me and my husband) because at the moment we are still building our church. I have envisioned a goal of a 500 member church and I praise God for directing me to this training because He knew the desire of our hearts.

Although it was difficult at first because of the language barrier, God made a way that I can understand the lectures through their Tagalog version of the curriculum. The workshop and practicums were very challenging, but it made me realize that people are lost and in need of the gospel, and how easily they will be born again and can see and enter the kingdom of God. I know God led us in the right direction and now we have something in our hands and heart, a weapon that will set the captives free, “Stealth Evangelism”. Glory be to God.

Help us continue to train these awesome pastors!!

I’d like to share with you just briefly on things that could really help us continue with the training of these awesome pastors. We could use more monthly supporters because the recession has hurt many of our partners financially. Our support has gone down in the last 1 ½ years because of the economic crisis that is hitting the whole world. We know that God’s principles have not changed at all, that He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. If we give it shall be given unto us good measure pressed down, shaken together, and running over, Amen?

So, with that in mind, please ask the Lord today if he would have you sow a monthly gift to Dunamis International so that pastors here in the Philippines and all over the world can receive this priceless training that will make their churches grow and the pastors have a financial boost from having more new converts in their churches. More members, more finances, more members, more workers! Please help in any way you can. You’d be surprised how far your dollars would stretch over here.

Please help us pay off the van!

We owe $3,938.00 or P169,000 pesos on the Mitsubishi van we bought about 6 months ago. It’s a 2003 with about 28,000 miles on it. It’s perfect for our ministry and will last us many years. Would someone please pay that off so we won’t have any more payments on it? It’s the only debt we have on any vehicle we own and it would be very helpful to get it paid off. You can give online and even set it up on your credit card for convenience to be taken out every month or a one time gift. We can’t out give the Lord, Amen? We love ya’ll and want to thank all of you for all you’re doing.

Love from all of us to all of you,

Tony, Calli, and the Dunamis Family

Sharing and Praying

Freedom to Share the Gospel!

Jean A. Villariez

First of all I would like to thank God for bringing me to this place. I believe the Lord has a purpose for me to learn “Stealth Evangelism”. Thank you Dunamis for this experience that I found in the workshop and practicum. At first I felt fear because I didn’t know what to say, but now I am so excited to share with anyone and not feel like I am boring. At first it was very challenging, but the Lord gave me the strength to trade my fear of rejection for His boldness. Thank you God, for greater is He that is living in me! The Lord used Pastor Steve to reach my fear and shame and to help me avoid those negative thoughts and feelings in my mind. Now with God’s help I will continue to reach many souls using Stealth Evangelism. I am expecting great results as we go back to our church and I help teach this to others. I now feel the freedom to share the Gospel of the Lord to any people I meet.

A Privilege to Come to Dunamis

Myla Calo

Youth Leader, My Master Seed of Faith Church, Antipolo City

It was a privilege to come to Dunamis International School of Missions…I’m thankful to all my teachers and other staff because they helped me especially during the workshop and practicum. It was a challenging experience because you got to approach people whom you don’t know…a total stranger…but because of the simplicity of the “Are You Born Again” tool, it amazed me that it was so effective and lost people got born again. It is my prayer that God will continue to bless this ministry and Pastor Tony Poole and Pastor Steve Hill.
