From the metropolis of Makati to the far provinces of Mindanao

Makati Training

Pastor Tony and Pastora Remy teaching in Makati at Word for the World Christian Fellowship

The Lord has blessed us with 3 classes to start with this year. They won over 4,000 souls to the Lord, with almost 200 pastors and leaders receiving a breakthrough fulfilling the mandate of the Lord as mentioned in Matthew 28:18, by becoming avid soul winners and future trainers!
Makati Practicum

These are two of our students witnessing during the practicums for the class in Makati!

First class of the year: Makati, Metro Manilla

The first class is in the center of commerce, in Word for the World Christian Fellowship Makati, in preparation for their new huge sanctuary being built and is nearing completion. Makati City is a first class highly urbanized city in Metro Manila and is the financial center of the country with a highest concentration of multinational and local corporations, which include major banks, shopping malls and foreign embassies being situated in this city.

The class found the training very exceptional and is a God sent tool to them because in their community, belonging mostly to the elite or upper class, it is a bit difficult to approach people. It has been also an eye opener for the students as during the practicum they recognized that people need Jesus and Pastor Tony has challenged and inspired them to be a witness of the Lord with urgency and with passion. As they received a breakthrough in the ministry of evangelism, they were able to conquer the fear of approaching strangers (we call it fear of rejection), and became more sensitive to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit as HE prods them to share the Good News. Bro Ronnie, an elder, was teary eyed as he shared the Lord’s vision for Word for the World, The Lord was directing them to a certain group of communities that they have neglected for many years. They now have a target area to saturate with the Gospel, and that is where the new church building is located. Glory to God, as these new graduates committed to a weekly evangelism until the Lord comes.

Bunawan Practicum

These are students witnessing in practicums in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur in Southern Mindanao

“On to Southern Mindanao!”

The 2nd batch is in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur, a first class municipality in Southern Mindanao and is popular because this is where Lolong, the world’s largest crocodile was captured. Equally excited as the first batch, they too felt a very powerful impact this training had in their ministry and in their Christian journey. They feel overwhelmed that God has given them a powerful tool to gun down the “old man” so they can be given a new creation. They clearly identified the pitfalls or their shortcomings in sharing the Gospel and learned that an unbeliever does not understand spiritual things yet. Aubrey enjoyed the practicum in the school and Pastor Ernor increased his intensity to evangelize and was really surprised the words “Born Again” can be used to win a soul for Jesus. Thanks be to God who sent them the fire of evangelism thru this training and they made a vow to do the harvest for Jesus in and out of season. They were encouraged with the thought that they can now be reapers in God’s vineyard!
Lapaz Training

At the Methodist Church In La Paz, Agusan del Sur, and one of the students sharing
the Gospel to youth in their school. (Praise the Lord we can still do that here!)

“And to the uttermost parts of the world!”

After 5 hours of land trip from Bunawan, the team proceeded to the 3rd batch in La Paz, Agusan del Sur, that looked like another uttermost part of the earth (We’ve been to several of these places). More than 100 participants which included Roman Catholics and was held in First Methodist Church. The Catholics were the first to taste the magnum 357, we took them to room at the church and shared the presentation to them, all 26 were born again, and most of them stayed till the end of the training. Amazingly, during the first practicum, a Catholic lady was the top soulwinner winning 16 souls to the Lord. Truly, God is a God of wonders and is a no respecter of persons. She had just been born again herself then led 16 people to the Lord on the first practicum, a very big BRAVO to the Lord and to her. This thrilled the others in the class and they were challenged to beat her record and this group ended with more than 2,400 souls.

I thank the Lord for His mighty work in January and I’m looking forward to move to greater heights in the next month. There had been a clamor to include this training as part of the curriculum in the Bible School in La Paz, and partnership with organizations who’ll want their teams to become powerful and unstoppable soulwinners. We are all mandated to Go and preach the Gospel to all the nations, and we will never stop, for whatever cost, until He comes. I just fervently pray for people who believe in this Ministry as a vehicle for God’s mandate on evangelism to come into fulfillment. As a powerful US Evangelist received the word from God that this year is Our Year of Abundant Harvest, He shall provide seeds for the sower, and you shall be given an abundant harvest to keep this ministry going, to bring Hope to a hopeless world and send Good News to our hurting brothers and sisters. And as we sow, shall we reap….Keep on sowing the seeds for the abundant harvest of souls, and healing to the sick, and others. A grain of corn brings cobs of corn, Amen?

To God be the glory,
Ptra Remy T Mordeno

Note from Tony:

We just want to Praise the Lord for these wonderful seminars that continue in spite of our focus being so heavy on the construction of the New Mission Center here in Manila. God has blessed us with such a great staff and He continues to supply our needs according to His riches and Glory. This construction has been so difficult yet we’ve been able to maintain the momentum of the school during this difficult time. Many of you know how hard it is to build a house. I told the staff from the start of the construction that I didn’t want to slow down any during this time. God can handle it, Amen? We do ask that you pray about joining us with monthly support or any kind of support to help this ministry continue unimpeded! We mentioned in the last newsletter that we have a $49,000 deficit of over run to try and make up so we will have no debt when we are through building. This is good soil to sow your seed money. We are totally debt free and anything you sow goes into the school and mission center to perpetuate the gospel throughout the world. We literally have alumni in many nations of the world that have trained in our school.

“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38

God bless you all. We love you, Tony & Calli Poole
