Thank You! Thank You!

For your gracious & abundant help while we were in the US!

Praise the Lord, we are all home now. My heart is full of thanks to all of you who helped us along our way when we were in the US. From places to stay, vehicles to drive, places to speak, feeding us and just blessing us all around. Thank you all with all our hearts, it was amazing to watch the Lord work through you. We love you! May God bless and repay you all a hundredfold!

I know much was accomplished during our time there that was needed done, so many things that had needed our attention for so long. God was gracious, guiding us all along the way. We are close to being over the jet lag now and back in the swing of things here at the school. I am soooo glad to be back here where our hearts are!

Ptr. wins

Our largest need right now!

Staff opportunity for Dunamis:

Pastor Winston “Wins” Alinea!

Pastor Wins is a real opportunity for Dunamis International School of Missions. He is not only a seasoned pastor and is currently pastoring a church in Laguna but he also has all the skills we personally need of someone to help us with the daily running of this Mission Center. Pastor Wins is a trouble shooter for all kinds of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and on and on. Plus he is sharp in the ministry and will be able to help with the training in our school. If that’s not enough he can help with the driving and knows his way around Manila so he can help me get to meetings and mobile training and do just about anything that we need done. Wow! I hope that you hear what I’m saying and will please help us hire him. Pastor Wins will fill a very much needed position with the school. We can hire this awesome man of God for the school for about $300 per month. He would live on site at the center 6 days a week. Please help us with a monthly commitment, if you can’t do it all, commit to what you can do. We desperately need him yesterday! This is one of our largest needs right now!

Thank you for helping us hire Ptr. Wins.

Training Seminar in Davao City

on Mindanao Island

We are planning a training in Davao City and another in Panabo City on Mindanao Island which is the largest Island in the Philippines and is south of Luzon Island where we are here in Manila. Davao has a population of about 1,500,000 people. It has a heavy Muslim concentration, but it is also heavily populated with Protestants and Catholics. This should be a significant launching of the Stealth Evangelism Program on Mindanao. We expect thousands saved through this effort and you can be a part it! The churches there are going to help with lodging and food so our expenses will be minimal for this trip. These two seminars are going to cost right at $2,000 including airfares for the team and all related expenses. Wow! $2,000 for of thousands of souls! And that is only the very beginning of the perpetual soul winning and multiplication that will come from doing these two seminars. The eternal effect we can only imagine! Isn’t this fun?! Don’t forget to mark your gift Davao so we can put the money where you want it to go.

Visayas Islands Seminars

We have an invitation to bring the Stealth Evangelism Program to Negros Occidental in the Visayas Islands through a mobile seminar. Bishop Chito Sanchez with River of God Ministries in Manila will partner with us to bring our program there in the next couple of months. These are churches for fisherman and farmers, so it’s a very low income area and we could use some help with the finances to bring this training to them. I know that the Lord wants us to go there and we are looking for His provision to do just that. This group currently has at 31 churches that want us to train their pastors and leaders. If this pulls at your heart strings to help, please mark your gifts for Visayas so we can make sure it goes to help these pastors. I can tell you from experience they are a very humble, contrite bunch of men and women of God willing to lay down their lives for the spreading of the Gospel. An estimate for this seminar is $2,900 including airfares for the team to Bacolod and transportation etcetera for approximately 5 to 6 days.

Palawan Island Seminars

Another very important training in the planning stages is Coron in the area of the Busuanga Islands in the Province of Palawan. There are seven churches there that want us to train their pastors and leaders. Then we would proceed to Puerto Princesa for a training in one of the largest churches in Palawan with Pastor Ancho Buenaventura. We can train 40 to 50 pastors and leaders there. The cost of these seminars together will run in the neighborhood of $3,500. I believe that these two seminars will have a huge impact on the Island of Palawan which is approximately 892,000 in population. It will be like setting a wild fire that will ultimately consume the Island. This is what evangelism is all about, reaching the unreached, Amen? Please step up and help with this project. It’s God’s provision and we can’t take it with us, but we can take these souls with us, Hallelujah!!! We have $1,000 already donated and marked for the Palawan seminars. So mark your gift Palawan to make sure your gift goes to the right seminar.

The best tool for reaping souls

is in our hands!

Praise be to the Lord God Almighty for this privilege and opportunity to attend the seminar on Stealth Evangelism. Above all, I give back all praise, honor and thanks to our mighty Savior Jesus Christ for giving me a chance to learn, adopt and absorb all the teachings, skills and abilities. I am also thankful to Pastor Tony and all the staff for sharing the blessings, knowledge and experience to us.

This is an awesome experience for me, a new adventure in seeding the word of God, and reaping souls. I have learned different tools and strategies in soul winning, but Stealth Evangelism’s approach is very unique. Simple yet powerful and effective. Most people will not be intimidated. Usually, I share the gospel for more than an hour and some people are bored and not interested anymore because of very long explanations, a lot of verses to say and memorize.

Thanks be to God for this Stealth Evangelism that will help me train the church entrusted to me by God, the leaders and members for I am sure the best tool for reaping souls is in our hands! I know this piece of paper is not enough to detail everything that happened during and after this seminar! May God bless each one of you. More power to all.

the class

While we were away, training goes on!

I’m back home in Manila now, praise the Lord, where my heart and passion are! Calli and Felicity are still in Amarillo finishing up some family business. They will be returning in mid-July as planned, joined by our middle daughter Krystel. She is moving here and coming aboard our Dunamis team. We welcome her and her many talents!

The girls are having a garage sale in Amarillo this weekend, June 22 & 23 at 2211 S. Polk to help raise funds. Ya’ll can go by and support them by shopping, or if you wish to help with item donations you can contact them at 355-3616 or 477-0188.

While we were in the US, the classes continued on without us here at the mission center. Pictured above are three of the classes that were trained during our absence.

Batch 53 had 14 students. They made 481 presentations in their three-day stay and won 916 souls to the Lord. There was also 14 students in batch 54. They made 427 presentations, winning 991 souls to the Lord. Batch 55 had 19 attendees that won 1210 souls in a total of 650 presentations of the Gospel.

We are so proud of the way our staff: Pastor Steve, Pastora Sonia, and Pastora Elaine continued on with such great results! Below are a few of the testimonies from the pastors and leaders who attended these classes.

“No idle moments!”

“At Dunamis there were no idle moments! It seems that everybody was busy learning, studying, witnessing and other activities that seem never ending. We are always on the go, but it is fun. It was more funin the practicum because of the experiences we had talking to people for the first time to do street evangelism and I learned that if you have the right tool, harvesting is easy!”

Dunamis is “The Best”

“I am very grateful and joyful because I came to Dunamis International School of Missions. It taught me the best technique as far as evangelism is concerned. The method is easy, short and effective and it shows in our practicum results. We are all inspired to witness because it is not hard to talk to people using the tool. I bring this training to our local churches. May God bless you and more power, Dunamis!”

“One of the most memorable times of my life!”

“May 22-25, 2012 could be considered one of the most memorable times of my life…I didn’t expect much at first; that my passion for souls would bloom and my faith would really increase…I thank God for the lives of Pastor Tony Poole and his partners in the ministry, Pastor Steve, Pastora Sonia, Pastora Elaine and the others from the bottom of my heart , I thank you. We salute you for what you are doing for the body of Christ…for imparting to us this method of evangelism and teaching us how to be effective soul winners.”

Chickie del Hugo, Missionary, Church of Christ, Imus, Cavite

It was exciting!

After several years of hearing from others who had attended the Stealth Evangelism training Chickie decided to come herself. “I was nervous with the first 2-3 persons I approached but then it was exciting! Thank you, Dunamis for sharing this ‘Stealth Evangelism’ with us.” She became the top soul winner in her class.

“A Wakeup Call”

“It was a wakeup call to me because I had felt an emptiness in my heart with regards to soul winning. I found out that through this method, my mouth which is always talking things to people about the cares of this world is activated to share the gospel and now it’s as if I cannot stop sharing the gospel to the people. … As if I want to ask “Are You Born Again?” to all the people that I come across and share with them the story of Nicodemus and pray with them! I think that is the effect of this training on me. Hallelujah!…I will bring this to my church and will encourage our leaders, workers and members to take part in the training so we can reach the lost and help, ‘Win the Philippines, Win the world!’ To God be the glory!”

“Self-confidence … essential in building relationships”

“Coming to the seminar for “Stealth Evangelism” was a privilege. Because of the method taught to us, I learned to mingle with total strangers…all kinds of people. Pastor Steve taught us to have self-confidence especially while we were in the field witnessing…I realized that we really need that because it is essential in building relationship with unbelievers… I am excited to go back to my local church to teach others what I learned here at Dunamis. May God bless all of you!”

“This is what we needed!”

“For me, Stealth Evangelism is a real blessing to our church because this is what we needed. It is the best tool of evangelism that I have encountered, it is very effective to use for winning lost souls. My earnest desire now is to be used of God to teach this method to the other leaders, workers and members of our local church. I want to personally thank Pastor Tony Poole, Pastor Steve, and all the staff of Dunamis for sharing with us their vision that was given to them by the Lord. God bless you, Dunamis.”

“I am so grateful”

“I am so grateful for the lives of the people behind this wonderful school of missions. (That means you, Partners! We wouldn’t be here without you!) With this very effective program of Stealth Evangelism, I can also be a very effective soul winner…more effective than before. The lecture, the workshop and the practicum taught me so many things. The actual witnessing we did on the streets was really wonderful. I never knew that with three simple verses, I could win souls to the Lord! I thank God for the life of our dynamic teacher, Ptr. Steve Hill who taught us to breathe God’s love thru witnessing and sharing the Word to lost people.”

We are grateful for you, too!

Thank you partners for all your help! We are so blessed to see each month what the Lord accomplishes in the lives of all these pastors and leaders. Thank you. Love Tony

Life of Worship in Amarillo

Stealth Evangelism

Launched in USA!

We conducted our first Stealth Evangelism Seminar on April 25-27 at Life of Worship in Amarillo, Texas. Hosting were Pastors John and Sandi Craig. We had 6 Students including John and Sandi complete the training.

Well, we learned a lot during those 3 days that will help with future Seminars here in the US. The students responded to the training just as enthusiastically as our students in the Philippines. Without question we had to make adjustments in the training procedures because of the difference in the culture and the population density. But all in all we could see that it will work just as efficiently here in the US as it does in the Philippines. Is that and Amen? Yahoooooo! We learned that even though the percentage of souls won are not as enormous as they are in a densely populated nation like the Philippines they are still significant and there can even be a much higher number of converts retained in the churches involved with the monthly evangelism program they establish with the Stealth Evangelism. In the US new believers are more likely to attend the church responsible for their salvation because there is no transportation problem and many are not affiliated with another church. In the Philippines most new converts don’t have transportation and will not stray far because of the cost of getting to and from. This also creates problems in follow-up that are not seen here in the states.

We are excited to be able to witness the debut of a mighty wave of evangelism we believe will cover the US in the coming years. You can help by getting the word out to pastors and leaders about us. Refer them to our web-site at www.dunamisinternational.org or call us at 806-416-2313 or our cell number while we are here in the US 806-477-0188.

Pastors John & Sandi Craig
Pastors John & Sandi Craig of Life of Worship in Amarillo,
during workshop portion of training.

“The Lord answered my prayer!”

“I had been praying for a simple transferable and trainable method to implement personally and in my church. I asked the Lord to send someone that would do this very thing for us at Life of Worship. The Lord answered my prayer and sent Tony & Calli Poole with Stealth Evangelism and the 357 Magnum tool. I was surprised at the simplicity of the method and how anyone can be trained to be soul winners. For me, it gave me confidence on breaking the ice in a conversation to show anyone what Jesus said about being Born Again. The practice and exercises help me make the presentation a part of me without a lot of memorization, steps, or fear of messing up. Messing up to me always brings grave consequences – like damaging a relationship and causing someone to reject the gift of salvation. I feel confident I can approach anyone with the Gospel with whom I strike up a conversation with. I’m excited about raising others to do the same.”

Pastor John Craig, Senior Pastor
Life of Worship, Amarillo, TX

“Witness without fear!”

“This conference has made evangelism so easy. We have learned a tool that we can pass on to every member of our church – from the young to the oldest. Each will be able to go out and witness in their everyday life without fear because they will know what to say. Because of Stealth Evangelism we will see our city and beyond, taken back for Jesus. As every church, pastor, and leader get a hold of this, we will see the “great harvest” of 6 billion lost come into the Kingdom of God.”

“More than I prayed for!”

“This has been even more than I prayed for. God is especially arranging my schedule and the direction of my life out of the medical and into the spiritual healing ministry. I am graduating into this, this week. I have prayed that you would come to the US (in Amarillo) to present this teaching. It is more than I ever imagined, and for the first time in my 77 years I feel equipped to actually lead anyone (who will receive) to Jesus (and it even somehow makes me love my Jesus more) The development and potential (of Stealth Evangelism) in the USA is critical in the season we are in – for most Americans will be in great fear and will desire the assurance of being born again. As we are able we will continue to sow and pray for Dunamis. Blessings abound to y’all. Love, Andrew”

“Invitation to Davao City!!!”

Awesome news! We have just been invited to send a team of three to Davao City in Mindanao to train 60 area pastors and leaders May 31 thru June 2. Our contact there said there will be a season festival of churches. Pastors from three districts of Davao are attending. So she gathered 20 pastors and leaders from each district to be trained by Dunamis. It happens once in five years so she took advantage of it! The arrangement is that Dunamis will shoulder one way fare of the staff and they will shoulder the other way plus food and accommodations while in Davao City. We stepped out in faith and told her,“Yes we will be there!” We are sending Pastor Steve Hill and two others to get this done. All we need is about P14,000.00 total. This will take care of their airfare one way and a small amount for transporting the materials, which we will be donating. Please agree with us in prayer for the provision for this awesome opportunity to light a fire of evangelism in southern Philippines. If you would like to help with this special need please designate on your gift “Davao training.”

Tony Poole

Pastor Tony Poole

Consumed by God!

This last Sunday I preached at Life of Worship Church in Amarillo. Wow! It has been years since I shared my testimony and preached a message on being “Consumed by God”! I loved it. During the worship time, which was absolutely wonderful, a powerful anointing just fell on me as I stood with others in the front of the Church worshipping our awesome God. When it hit me, it came like a flood of flashbacks of life experiences that began as the Lord had started His process of consuming me in 1997.

I remembered so many wonderful moments that God touched the depths of my soul with His all consuming love. The Lord spoke to Calli at Trinity Fellowship that year and told her that we would look back at the end of ’97 and wouldn’t recognize our life. Well, that was an understatement! I was hammered by the Holy Spirit from the beginning of the year, and on February 8th, the Holy Spirit fell upon me and the fire of God just cooked me for 11 ½ hours that night. The next morning when I came out of it, “I would never be the same again.”

I went from being consumed by everything but God, that is consumed by my work, consumed by my family, consumed by my ministry in the church….! Then all of sudden I woke up absolutely addicted to God. After that, about every 3 to 4 days the Holy Spirit would fall upon me again as though I were having withdrawals from my new addiction, because I would shake and go into cold sweats and just be out of it for 2 to 4 hours at a time. During those episodes with the Holy Spirit I would see all kinds of things in the spirit. The Lord was ministering His love and at the same time taking over areas in my life that I’d always had control of. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom or liberty (2 Cor. 3:17). During all this I became more and more free of my inhibitions to speak to crowds, worship freely, dance to the Lord, and so on!

I also began to loose my zest for my work as a real estate man. At the time I had garnered about 60% market share at Lake Tanglewood. We had a beautiful house on the water and 3 boats. I sold property out of my boat and fished daily.

I loved my life at Tanglewood! I told Calli one time, “bury me on the hill behind the house.” I never wanted to leave there. But when the Holy Spirit revealed the face of the Lord to me in these fiery episodes with God, my lust for things of this world began to die, they became strangely dim in the light of His Glory and Grace. On April 24th after two months of being touched over and over by the Lord which I became addicted to His presence, He revealed the call to me. One month to the day later during another encounter or episode He told me to get everything out of my hands and He was going to put His things in my hands. He said to sell the house and business, then give everything else away. Later that year we traveled to the Philippines to preach at Pastor Conferences in Surigao and Palawan. When we returned I told Calli, “I shall not return” because of the difficulty of the trip, but God had another plan. We returned after just one year and began coming back on short term mission trips every 6 to 12 months. Calli and I both knew that God was calling us to the Philippines after the second trip. It took nearly 4 years to get ready for what He ultimately wanted us to do.

In 2002 we started itinerating in churches raising support to go. Then in March of 2003 we stepped out of the boat, and moved to the Philippines into a whole new life. I cannot tell you how much it has meant to Calli, Felicity, and I to have been chosen of God to go and do His awesome work there. We are committed to a life time of serving God on the mission field. There have been millions of people saved because of the work that God has put our hand to. Friends God chose us because He knew our hearts better than we did. I told my son in law two years before the Lord called me, “God would never call me, I’m just a lay minister!” I was 51 when the Lord uprooted me out of my nest and put me on the highway to Glory. What else could it be? Instead of laying up treasures on earth we have been given the opportunity in this season of our life to lay up treasures in Heaven! The only treasure that we can take with us when we die is the souls of men. Amen?

If God can use people like us, He can use anyone, including YOU! Is that an Amen? It’s not our ability that God is interested in, it’s our availability that He cares about! Avail yourself to Him and watch Him do mighty things through you!

We love you all, Tony & Calli Poole
