Stepping into her destiny!

We are about to launch a monthly training seminar for the Pastors in Davao City and other parts of Mindanao (pink island in map above) that will be in addition to our monthly trainings here in Manila. There is a Prophecy over Mindanao that I want you to see some excerpts from as you read about this opportunity to set the Island ablaze with evangelism.

“Mindanao On Fire” Prophecy

“O Mindanao, the land of promise, you stand outside the 10/40 window of darkness, that holds 62 nations in the furnaces of hell. The spirit will visit you first as His bridge to the nations, you are the doorstep, the spark, the igniter, the fire of my baptism will bring you higher. It was from Mindanao that the Mantle Mandate was given. And from Mindanao that the young lions received the mantle on behalf of us all…You shall be the head, the front door of this island nation…Mindanao has been at forefront of God’s plan for the Philippines to be a Burning Bush for Asia and a missionary sending nation to the world.”Note from Tony: We just trained our first batch of pastors and leaders in Davao City March 6-8. I believe with all my heart that we are embarking on a thrust in evangelism that will have one of the largest impacts on world evangelism that the world has ever seen. Mindanao has the prophetic call on it to be the spear head of evangelism to the Philippines and other nations of the world.

We are in need of supplies to fight the war. This is a call to all who have ears to hear. We need help to make available this training for the Church leadership on Mindanao island. Please don’t underestimate how important this is. It’s time to rise up and take the land! God has been preparing Dunamis as a part of this awesome thrust for the last 11 years we’ve been here! God has been perfecting the curriculum getting it ready for such a time as this. It’s time!

Below you’ll read an invitation by a pastor and president of a Christian School there in Davao City, Mindanao to host trainings monthly. Basically they are going to help us train 1,000’s of pastors and leaders there on that Burning Bush Island that we believe will help start the largest evangelism activation thrust in the world. Please read the letter I received from Pastora Seny Zanoria below!

Urgent plea from Davao!

Dear Pastor Tony,

How many times out of frustration I have said to myself, “I know God’s will. It is His desire for everyone to receive the gift of salvation,” but it is not easy for me to just plainly tell them, they need to be saved, that is born again.

I have brought many souls to the kingdom of God but it was not easy. Many times I have asked God to show me ways to do it without much struggle. But oftentimes, it makes me frustrated.

I believe it is God’s will for Christ to have an earthly kingdom through the activation of God’s people in His church. It is His will that none should perish. It is His will that the world might be saved.

He commanded us to go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever He commanded us. (Matt. 28:19-20)

This is the one driving force behind my actions to share to others the gospel, winning the lost, regardless of the cost. These were my motivations. All these years, I managed to bring souls to the Kingdom of God the hard way.

Then I was able to attend the Stealth Evangelism Program at Dunamis International in Manila. It was by God’s grace that I was able to join the others on that fateful moment. And my eyes were opened to the method you have shared. How simple was the approach yet so profound, so powerful, so effective. This is the reason why we have to pass this on to other servants of God.

Pastor Tony, It’s our desire to offer the Stealth Evangelism Program each month here in Davao. We believe if only the pastors here could be sponsored to attend this seminar, they will have a breakthrough in their soul winning and church growth. We would be capable of facilitating the training just as you do in Manila with the same standard of excellence with a very minimal cost of only P700 pesos (Approx. $15US) per pastor, we will be able to offer the training to all the pastors even though most cannot afford the training.

I want to host as many trainings as we can conduct this year. With at least 24 pastors and leaders per seminar, to make the group manageable. For P16,000 pesos (or $360 US) per seminar we can train at least 24 pastors and leaders per batch for 3 days. We will take care of their food, lodging and venue for training. We will also furnish your staff food and lodging with them.

It is our hope that you can find some Christian partners that will sow the seeds to finance the training of our Mindanao pastors to win millions of Filipinos here. Mindanao has more than 25 million people and Davao has 2.3 million people here.

I agree with you to WIN THE PHILIPPINES is to WIN THE WORLD. The prophecy regarding the island of Mindanao to be the launching nation for the salvation of the world will come to pass as pastors are trained to win souls and make disciples of them in Jesus mighty name.

Opportunity Knocks

for whosoever will!

We just completed the revision of our Pastor Leadership Training Manual. We’ve been using this manual for about two years and we’ve gone through more than a thousand of them in our training seminars. The old manual was such an upgrade from the mimeographed copies that we had used for the years before that. Even though it had a few imperfections we were very proud of it and it did a pretty good job.

We began working on the new edition about a month ago because we ran out of the booklets. We were going through it, making changes and moving things around. I could feel the anointing being released on it. Every page began taking its rightful place. Each paragraph found its mark. We added things from the training that seem to come out in every class under God’s anointing. The pages were coming together with a perfection only God can bring. Calli and I both just sit back in awe at the clarity of the curriculum.

We finished the manual last week just before the next class. Well, I couldn’t wait till we got it back from the printers to teach from it, so I had the staff print it off on our copier. One for all the students, and a copy for me. When I trained the group using that new manual it was so easy and clear. The result was astounding!

The group was mostly average students, but when they took each test, I was apprehensive because several of them were challenged in their English skills. Yet they scored extremely high on all three tests. Even the Final examination had extraordinary results. I believe with all my heart that we had a breakthrough and are on the verge of taking the Stealth Evangelism Program to the nations.

We are going to work on the original Stealth Evangelism training manual now, to see if there are any improvements that can be made there also. After that, it will be time to develop the video training off of the manuals. Then it will be ready to take to the nations. Warning! The devil had better start running because here we come, Amen?We need $600 to print 1,000 of these new Training Standard Manuals. We hope someone will step forward and pay for these. Can you imagine the millions of souls these manuals will impact? These are used to train pastors on how to build their churches through the harvest.

So, if you want to make an impact with your dollars this is your opportunity! This is critical so don’t procrastinate, we have already sent it to the printer for a quote and we need the money within this week for them to start. “Like a Lion!”

My first impression after Pastor Tony had his lecture on the curriculum, I said to myself, “This is as easy as my lesson in Grade 1!” But then when we were having our workshop, this is where I noticed the impact of the teaching, because we have to deliver the method perfectly and it seems for an old lady like me, memorization is a not so easy task. But I got so excited after I memorized everything in the workshop and we went out for our first practicum. I was like a lion roaring around looking for souls to devour with the Word of God! I was totally refreshed with the knowledge of this simple way of evangelism taught to us by Dunamis. I praise God that the fire to evangelize was again ignited in my heart and this will be the beginning of the task to seek and evangelize the lost using the 357 Magnum presentation. To God be the glory!

Our group was able to accomplish our tasks easily because most of us are already pastors. It’s great to know that there is an easy way, or that is, a witnessing tool like Stealth Evangelism to help Filipinos find their way to the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior, and it works! God has done a good thing when He created Pastor Tony Poole-truly an apostolic gift to mankind! Thank you Pastor Tony for revealing to me that I can function in all the spiritual gifts-What a great responsibility!

It was not my intension to come here due to my schedule, but I am not allowing my wife to come alone. So Praise God because we arrived here and we believed it was the work of the Holy Spirit who led us to this training.

I was amazed with this kind of ministry because it is very simple, simple in a way that we already were familiar with the text, but we didn’t have the system or strategies. So I’ve learned a lot, even from the beginning, the lectures, the workshop, and especially the practicums.

It’s not my very first time doing evangelism, but still I felt nervous. Thanks be to God because I experienced a breakthrough in several areas, most especially learning what to say to stay under the radar of the person I’m witnessing to in the market place, and I learned how to handle rejection.

Well, in the 3 days of staying here and training, one thing is for sure, I will never be the same again. I would say that we learned to the fullest! We are confident. Now that when we go back to our respective churches, we can duplicate and multiply ourselves with the same result!

Awesome beginning for 2014!

We just completed the training for Batch #79 of this series of Stealth Evangelism Training for trainers. It was a unique mixture of leaders in God’s Church here in the Philippines. We had 4 Bishops and 5 pastors in this group. The rest were church leaders from some of their churches. Pastora Sonia and I were both really impressed with the humility and passion that this group walked in. They met the challenge of learning the technique and learning how to multiply themselves after they returned to their individual churches. The Bishops were all church planters and were not only astounded by the effectiveness of the technique but they were also blessed with the strategies that they learned to help make their churches grow and were talking of taking the Stealth Evangelism Program to other parts of the Islands to equip the pastors in Cebu, Mindanao and many other places here. They were quite excited to get back to their churches and go to work. Ironically, they are not going to be going back to add more load to their already busy lives, but in implementing some of the strategies that we taught them, they will ultimately lessen their load and add many new workers to do the work of the building the Kingdom of God. We genuinely feel that through the Stealth Evangelism Program they will grow exponentially through one on one evangelism by their members and development of cell groups to help usher in the new believers into their churches. We feel the Holy Spirit is saying,

“Its time!” That this year

He will be pulling out all the stops!

For many years we have been developing the Stealth Evangelism Program, changing things when we could see a better way. It’s taken all of the 10 years of development to get it where it is ready for the Church. During those years I held back from promoting Stealth Evangelism to the Bishops (heads of groups of churches) here in the Philippines because we needed to perfect our tools and training to the current standard of quality. It is now ready! Stealth Evangelism has evolved from the “Wright Brothers first flight” to the “Stealth Bomber of today” over those years. We feel the Holy Spirit is saying, “Its time!” That this year He will be pulling out all the stops and we are going to be busy, busy, busy! More than ever! We can feel the momentum building, that the heads of churches and denominations (Bishops and spiritual leaders here) are going to fill the classes and we are going to need more staff to take care of this. Don’t worry we also have volunteers that will take some of the edge off!

It was a pizza Christmas!

Mid December I came back to Amarillo to help my Mom. She’s 92 and was having difficulties seeing after having eye surgery. She’s getting ready to move to the Dallas area to be with one of my sisters. It has been my first Christmas apart from Tony in 37 years. I spent Christmas Eve at a dear friend’s apartment Skyping with Tony, Krystel, Felicity and the grandkids back in Manila. (Mom doesn’t have internet!) My friend Ginger Gosnell and I shared a frozen pizza and some Christmas cookies she had baked earlier in the day, as we talked with my family on the computer.

Thank you Ginger for making this missionary’s Christmas Eve so special. It was Christmas morning in the Philippines, and after we spent several hours on Skype they had to go so they could order pizza for lunch! This was another Christmas first for us! My daughter Kari (along with David and Karisa) brought over Christmas dinner for mom and me later that evening, (mom couldn’t manage the stairs at Kari and David’s second floor apartment.) So although it was quite a different Christmas, it was such a special one. I will always remember getting to spend this time with Mom. Thank you mom for making it possible for me to come see you! And thank you Lord for orchestrating such a treasured visit! And while I’m at it, I’m so grateful to Kari and David for loaning me the Jeep. It was a blessing to be able to run errands and get around in it. And thank you Ginger for chauffeuring me and mom around to churches and doctor appointments (mom couldn’t get into the jeep!)

While I am here I’m helping move our home office in Amarillo during January. Keep us in your prayers; I know the Lord is leading me through all the changes. I’ll be back home by the time you receive this newsletter. Sure miss Tony and everyone in Manila and I’m so eager to get back to Dunamis!

From a shameful situation…

To an answer to prayer!

In my 15 years of service in the ministry, I have attended many seminars about evangelism and how to win souls but I hardly used them in my church. I thank God for Dunamis International School of Mission’s ministry because it changed my mind set as far as sharing the Word of God is concerned. I was really scared to share because of the fear of rejection and I can only say it was a shameful situation…but not here at Dunamis because when we were on our practicum, my long time prayer of finding a way to evangelize without fear was answered! I had the boldness to share now and the strength within me comes from God I can just feel it! So now I am very enthusiastic in sharing the Gospel (especially the 357 Magnum which is John 3:3,5,7).
