Dinagat Islands

Witnessing to residents of the Dinagat Islands

Note from Pastor Tony
on Dinagat Island training

Please take a minute and read about this Island that is basically under control by a cult that has controlled not only the population, but the government on the Island. Our team just did a Stealth Evangelism Seminar there March 7th – 9th. (I was unable to accompany them as I had planned due to me still recuperating from injuries from last month’s accident.)

Read about the Island and the awesome success of the class. They won 10% of the population of this one Island in 3 days. So many cult members came to Lord during practicums of the seminar. More than 1,200 people gave their hearts to the Lord. The host pastor had been ready to leave the Island after living in poverty and he felt, basically failure to build his church in 20 years of hard ministry. Now his hope and fire is rekindled to take the Island for Jesus!

In my heart I know they will take that Island for Jesus through effective one on one soul winning. Praise God partners you are part of the winning of this Island to the Lord and snatching these people out of the grip of satan’s cult. Praise the Lord Jesus! Please read about this victory below!

Destroying the hold of the PBMA Cult on Dinagat Island!
Forces landed on March 7th bringing Victory!

Pastora Remy Modeno

The Dinagat Islands are a group of islands constituting a province in Caraga region in the Philippines, with its main island, Dinagat. Total population for this municipality where we held our seminar is approximately 11,000 people. There are 6 other municipalities that all together have around 127,000 people on this group of islands. In 1965 the religious Cult- PBMA (Phiippine Benevolent Missionaries Association by Ruben Ecleo, Sr) was founded, ushering in a period of spiritual darkness for this region of the Philippines. The Ecleo mansion is located in San Jose, Dinagat Island where the whole population are members of his cult, except 4 family lines who are born again Christians.

Dinagat Island was the venue for Batch 1807 on March 7 – 9. Taking a pump-boat ride from Surigao, the team came to the church and carried the seminar supplies up 36 long stair steps to the church. But it was all worth it! There were over 1,200 souls led to the Lord on 3 different islands that can be reached only by a motorbike ride or a 10 minute pump-boat ride.

Pastors with new hope and vision!

The class, which included 12 pastors, was very receptive and hardworking during practicums. Despite the on and off rains, and skipping lunch, they willingly extended practicum hours from 8 to 12-13 hours not limiting themselves to the required 30 presentations. Truly their hearts thirst for new souls for the Lord and all were excited about opening new Bible study groups and pioneering churches amidst strongholds and persecutions in the island.

The host pastor and his wife were already planning to move to another place to start their new ministry. 20 years of their ministry in the island brought them so much discouragement and put them on a poverty living. They live in a shanty with a makeshift tent divider to separate the house from the church, with no decent beds, sleeping on the floor, including their 8 children. They said ministry life was too difficult for them, taking them nowhere and said they were ready to give up this place and admit themselves as failures!! They even admitted that they have really stopped doing the evangelism.

But Praise God, Stealth Evangelism inspired them and sparked a new hope that despite the circumstances, using the 357 Magnum presentation, they will be able to win new souls to the Lord without rejection, and soon these new believers will be discipled and will be the future church members and workers. The couple’s fire for soul winning had been fanned and there’s no more stopping them! They found the key to escape their poverty thru winning more and more souls. After all, more souls, more members and later on more finances for the ministry. Their hearts are full of joy with the vision of prosperity and abundance as God has promised. Truly, the breakthrough is already at hand and taking place, with the first step-being empowered with the powerful tool of evangelism.

The host pastor had shared the Gospel to his neighbor for more than 25 years to no avail, then he used the newly learned 357 Magnum technique on her, and as she accepted the Lord, she invited him to join them in celebrating her mother’s 92nd birthday in Davao, so the whole family can also be led to the Lord. Wow, what a bonus!! Glory to God!

The host pastor’s wife shared to her friend who is a teacher, about being born again. The teacher not only prayed the salvation prayer, but God opened her spiritual blindness by making her discover that being born again is not a religion. God impressed on her that what God wanted is a fellowship, a relationship with her. Hallelujah!!

Always Victory in Jesus!

As we leave the island via pump-boat, and as I glanced back to the island, I cannot help but feel a great sense of fulfillment and pride. I can now declare failure is never an option in God’s ministry. There is always victory in the name of Jesus, and God’s time is always perfect, not so late nor too early. Stealth Evangelism came to Dinagat in a moment when everyone felt so hopeless and resigned that they can no longer do anything to resolve the issues. We were so much blessed with this class as we know we are leaving them a powerful tool that can combat poverty, multiply their churches, bring them prosperity and above all, turn these cult members into believers and disciples of Jesus. As we closed our class with prayers, we all declared, DINAGAT ISLAND IS FOR JESUS!!!

All thanks and praises to our loving God who sent His Son to redeem us so we can have Good News to share and to the Holy Spirit who continues to do His work on all our batches. May the Lord of Harvest bring abundant harvest to those who sow in this ministry and as we increase the quantity of warriors for God’s Army. I pray that the provision shall meet the demand for more harvesters in the Kingdom of God. Praise be to God forever and ever.

– Pastora Remy

Health Report on Pastor Tony!

Tony is improving daily, just not quite back to normal yet. He can go for a few hours then he’s really tired with back hurting and done for the day. Still feels a little fire in the muscles in his back, but is able to do most things by himself now. He’s back to riding his motorcycle and moving around for a few hours but tires out dramatically because he’s not yet fully healed. His first seminar since the accident is scheduled for next month on the 10th. He should be well by then. Just keep him in your prayers.

We Shall Return!

We will schedule other seminars in this region to take Stealth Evangelism to the other 6 Municipalities and train their pastors thus winning the entire Dinagat Islands!

Consider supporting this ministry monthly to help bring the Gospel to Islands like Dinagat. We have many that we need to bring the training to. Thank you for supporting these pastors to take the Stealth Evangelism seminar. We love you all, Tony & Calli

Tony Wreck

Left: Normal Manila traffic with our ever present Jeepneys. Right: Actual photo after Tony’s accident of him on the sidewalk, surrounded by bystanders, awaiting the arrival of the ambulance. A young man that works at the McDonald’s where Tony goes for coffee quite often, saw this picture his friend had taken at the scene and recognized Tony. He just shared it with him this morning!

Pastor Tony taken by Ambulance to Hospital
After motorcycle accident!

Please pray for Pastor Tony, he was injured in motorcycle wreck on Sunday afternoon on the 4th of February. A public transportation Jeepney pulled in front of him on Zapote Road. When he hit his brakes the tires could not grip and stop because the road had sand and light gravel in that spot. The cycle slid out from under him and he flew through the air into the large gutter curb on the side of the road where he hit with blunt force on his side just above the pelvis and close to the kidney. (Curbs here are taller and have a much sharper right angle than the curved ones we were used to in the US.) The force was so hard he could not move or get up.

As he lay there in the sun there were people all around him and some of the older ladies tried to fan him keep the flies away. An officer held an umbrella over him while they waited for an ambulance. He said that he thought his injuries were serious because when he tried to move it was like fire on his side where he hit.

When they got him to the hospital they did x-rays and an ultra sound and determined that there were no injuries to internal organs or broken bones, Praise God! His doctor was astonished knowing the type of accident he had experienced and with that amount of force that his injuries were limited to his muscles. We are so thankful that the Lord protected him, it could have been so much worse.

Of all days, he had forgotten his phone at home and could not contact any of us. So I was only informed hours later when the police came to our door and told us he had been taken to the hospital. They were only able to tell me he was conscious and thought he would be OK. As I was heading to the hospital the Lord assured me it would all be alright.

He has been in a lot of pain during this time of recuperating, but his body is healing and is getting stronger every day. The staff is conducting the next three seminars on their own. Tony could not handle the lengthy traveling quite yet. But he will be back at it soon!

Thank you for you continued prayers! Love you, Calli

3 Back to back Seminars in 10 days

In just days, we will be in 3 mission fields, all in Mindanao, where the remnants of the Lord in (1)Polomolok, South Cotabato, 90% Muslim (2) General Santos City and (3) Glan, Sarangani awaits with enthusiasm and excitement, as they too, would like to learn how to win souls in stealth mode, and penetrate the enemy’s camp without being detected. HALLELUJAH!!! Another opportunity to raise new army of Living Epistles, train new soldiers in their churches, and soon, their tents will be enlarged. Thank you Lord!!!
Practicum 1

Sharing the Gospel with a young lady in Zamboanga City

Batch 1804 – Zamboanga City
February 7, 8 and 9

Dunamis held this seminar in Zamboanga City on the Zamboanga Peninsula in the Philippines. Zamboanga City has a population of 861,799 people. It is the 6th most populous city in the Philippines and the 2nd most populous in Mindanao after Davao City and is the commercial and industrial center of the region.

This batch had 18 graduates, 11 of which are pastors and won close to 700 new souls to the Lord. 60% of these new believers were Muslims. One of which had an instant healing, and another Muslim expressed a desire to attend the church service. Three of the pastors averred that they used to have a lifestyle of evangelism but for many reasons, it started fading away until completely gone as they were busy with so many programs/activities. The seminar played a very significant role in reviving their passion for lost souls and once again taking the Great Commission as a serious responsibility. Pastor Ronald, as he was filling up the application admission form, was in retrospect of how he started the church with 20 persons pioneering it, and after 4 years increased the members into 50. He told himself, it was a very slow growth, averaging 7-8 new members per year. In his ambitious mind, he has written 1000 persons as new members for his vision, but realizing it was impossible to achieve at that time, he wanted to erase it and make it 100 instead. However, as he finished the class, he said that 1,000 members is easily attainable with the use of the evangelism tool he was just taught. He is excited to train his members and multiply himself!

Pastor Percy was deeply moved with the story of the “forgotten person” (persons we always meet but have omitted sharing the Gospel to). He went to a mall, Shopper’s Plaza, where he always goes and where his sister works as a supervisor. He told the staff there that he will go to hell if he doesn’t share the Gospel to them. He started with the staff and soon, he finished the whole third floor, each new believer bringing a new person to him to be shared with. He plans to win the owner also.

Witnessing to soldiers on street in Zamboanga City

Note from Pastor Tony

Zamboanga is predominately a Muslim area today because of a war that broke out there some 4 to 5 years ago. After the war, many of the Christian community fled to other regions in fear for their lives and discouraged by the war that took so many lives. Today it’s 70% or more Muslim, only 30% Christian. These pastors are a Remnant of God that will surely prevail over the enemy of the Lord. We have given them the weapon of warfare to wage the battle for men’s souls. By sowing into this ministry you have a part in this incredible battle that God is perpetrating on the kingdom of darkness. Every month sacrifice a lunch, a golf game, a movie etc. and start sowing $25.00 -$100.00 a month to make sure that we can continue this equipping of God’ s Remnant and we will win together! We will see the End Times Harvest prevail together. We will take back the land (Places like Zamboanga) for Jesus!

Love you, Tony

Happy New Year

The New Year always starts off with lots of fireworks here in the Philippines!

2018 starts with a Bang!
Finished 3 seminars in January!

By Pastora Remy Modeno

Praise the Lord for this month’s 3 batches of training on Stealth Evangelism that were held in Davao, Samal Islands and Agusan del Sur, all located in Mindanao region of the Philippines. The Lord sent His remnants, 101 pastors/leaders to be trained. They won 2,300+souls to the Lord, each receiving the greatest gift of all (Jesus in their hearts!) At least 40 churches were impacted during the training as these pastors and leaders received the most powerful evangelism weapon they could ever have that could mean church growth and bring prosperity not only in their ministry but in their personal lives as well!
Bobby sharing Jesus

One armed Bobby sharing Jesus with people on the street in Davao

First Batch – Davao

In batch 1801 in Davao, an aspiring Leader of Men’s Ministry, Bobby, who had lost his left arm, proved he could be fully armed to win a soul using the 357 Magnum technique. Using our custom made and special Soulmate Bible, he shared the Gospel and won 36 souls to the Lord! At the onset of the first practicum we could see and feel his anxiety and hesitation to do the practicum as he has one arm only to use. But when he used the presentation, he saw how easy and light the presentation truly was and he became confident and found it so simple and natural to use the technique. The size of the Soulmate Bible and the easy flow of the presentation of the 357 Magnum gave him awesome confidence in winning souls and he is so excited with the vision of multiplying himself by training others in the harvest field. Who needs an extra arm when you can be fully armed with this tool? Glory to God!!!! He provides when man thinks there is a lack of provision, and He makes possible when man sees the impossible!! There was a noticeable transformation in this young man in this seminar. He went from being quiet and shy, to bold as a lion and taking control out in the street where the people were. It was truly amazing! We witnessed another miracle!

Batch 1802

Batch 1802 on Samal Island

Second batch – Samal Island

In batch 1802 on Samal Island, a Bible school teacher registered with an air of superiority, questioning the tool as not useful since there is a negative connotation on the word “Born Again” but at the end of the workshop he was simply amazed with the tool and he even asked that we bring this training to other locations that he would help set up. He felt the power and the authority of the technique. There are always those that in the beginning of the seminar they think they know what the seminar is all about, because they have attended many other seminars. When they complete the seminar there is a humbling that takes place and a new passion from the Lord that fills their hearts and there is always a paradigm shift in the way they think and feel about evangelism and its priority in the church.

Worldwide most of our Christian leaders and members need a paradigm shift, Amen? Think about it, maybe even “You” do!

Batch 1803

Batch 1803 in Talacogon

Third Batch – Talacogon

In batch 1803 in Talacogon, Agusan del Sur, a church Planter missed the first day’s training because of heavy rains and he came from another city which is 3 hours away from the training venue. Pastor Milrose won 40 souls during 2 practicums alone. He said he became a sharpshooter like our Filipino action star Fernando Poe Jr. or Clint Eastwood. Sharpshooter in using this anointed soul winning weapon our 357Magnum that he said he is hitting the target at 100% BULLS EYE!! Glory to God!! This tool is perfect for a ministry that is church planting, so Pastor Milrose goes home with his guns loaded!

February to begin with 2 batches in Muslim
Dominated areas under Martial Law!

We have 4 batches scheduled for February: Zamboanga City , Polomolok Cotabato, (both muslim dominated regions and tribal areas). Then we have General Santos City and the province of Manny Pacquiao in Sarangani! As children of God we shall occupy and take these areas for Jesus. Amen!

GLORY TO GOD NOW AND FOREVER!

Red Tape

Your prayers are requested!!
Help us defeat this Red Tape Monster!

Please continue to intercede on behalf of our current building project. The red tape here in the Philippines seems to be unending.

We are still waiting for the final building permits to be released so we can commence the actual construction. We have been told we will receive the permits any day now, but we have been hearing the same for several months now.

We have construction supplies building up on the lot just waiting for the official permits so the work can begin. We are so ready to build the new Dunamis International Mission Center in Manila, Philippines. It will give us the permanent presence here in Asia that we have always prayed to have, since God called us here 20 years ago.

We are hoping to finish the construction of the new center completely debt free! Amen? If you want to be a part of this center you can send your gift to Revival Fire Ministries International, PO Box 30487, Amarillo, TX 79120, and designate it: Mission Center. Or you can give online by clicking on the “Donate Now” button below.

God bless you all. Love you, Tony & Calli
