Dunamis 19th Anniversary this month!

This month marks our nineteenth year here in the Philippines. We arrived in Manila on March 5, 2003. Thousands of seminars with thousands of Pastors and leaders trained. Already millions of souls have been brought into the Kingdom! I am so blessed to know there are so many pastors here already leading their churches in evangelism efforts with Stealth Evangelism. Especially now in this time of pandemic, souls are still being reached. Even with mask and shields, people are getting born again daily all over the Philippines and the world because of the Impact of Dunamis International School of Evangelism! —Tony

From Remy’s Facebook post November 29, 2013

I am Praising God for Dunamis Stealth Evangelism which changed the course of my life and ministry. I have been so blessed to travel around the country conducting this training that activates our passion for soul-winning, meet and train hundreds of pastors & leaders, winning thousands of souls monthly, and sharing tears with pastors who were about to leave and quit their ministry and encouraging them, by training them with the tools to build their church and the Kingdom of God through Evangelism and Discipleship!

There’ s no other “business” more fulfilling, that yields a return on investment for eternity, than the “business of my Father in Heaven”, in winning the SOULS OF MEN, with the Blood of Jesus as its “Capital”!

Thank You Lord! Our Motto! Win the Philippines! Win the world! —Remy

A note from Remy March 27, 2021 during Covid Pandemic!

This is a note today, March 27, 2021 from our General Coordinator for the Philippines Remy Mordeno. The fire continues to rage within her as it does the rest of us here at Dunamis!
My Life has never been the same since the day I joined Dunamis International School of Evangelism. I have seen pastors and leaders equipped and empowered to become powerful soul-winners. I have witnessed how they are transformed from timid and shy witnesses of Christ to bold and fearless ones. I have cried with pastors who lost hope and are in the brink of leaving their ministries and revived their passion for the calling God has given them. Truly our Stealth Evangelism Program has become a beacon of light, a source of hope, and is life transforming. It is a whole package that transforms the mind, the heart, and the life of each pastor or leader that takes the training. I have seen churches grow exponentially as they follow the teachings in the course. It is a seminar like no other. The technique is stealth, or undetected, and yet the results are visibly identifiable. With millions of souls won using the 357 Magnum witnessing technique, and thousands of pastors and leaders equipped with this evangelism tool. Hundreds of churches are growing and being planted. I thank God for bringing me to this ministry. Nothing can stop the plan of God, as we pursue the Great Commission. My 8 years in Dunamis are the best years of my life. Hallelujah! —Remy
Nine-classes

These are just a sampling of the classes that we have seen over the years. Most of our photos were destroyed in the 2016 fire. As I scanned through the pictures we still have of the countless faces of pastors and leaders that have been touched by these seminars, I was moved to tears. All of whom have been transformed into powerful witnesses for the Lord! —Calli

Scheduled Cebu Seminar Suspended

Our seminar scheduled in Cebu for the end of March was just called off. We had our plane tickets bought, but the government suddenly shut down travel in and out of Manila due to another Covid spike. We had been so excited about resuming the training seminars on other Islands. It was heartbreaking when the flight was suddenly aborted. So, we will have to reschedule at a later time. They also ceased indoor dining and a few other things, but none of that affects us. We can still move around the city somewhat.

We are so happy to hear that things are opening up for y’all in Texas. Churches are still only limited to a few people. However, the seniors and children are still not allowed to attend.

Until the travel bans are lifted, we will continue to do our seminars here where we can get to them by land on Luzon Island. They may lift the restrictions next month! This pandemic has hampered us a little but we continue to have fantastic seminars with thousands of souls won to the Lord every month.

Effect of a worldwide pandemic!

We are so addicted to doing these trainings! We feel we are having withdrawals from the pandemic virus’ effect on the number of seminars we can do. Having said that, the pandemic has also had a significant effect on our partner giving. During this tragic time in the world, with the lockdowns affecting so many people in their financial life, it’s also hitting us seriously in our finances. We still have faithful partners that have stuck with us through this difficult time, but we want you to know we have lost around $1,400 a month of our ministry income that pays for seminars. We are praying that some of you who are able, will come on board with us so we can do more seminars that are so eternally impactive on the world. Help us build the Kingdom of God through the activation of churches with this powerful evangelism tool that creates perpetual streams of souls into the Kingdom of God. It’s like Remy said, “There’s no other business like doing the Lord’s business of winning the souls of men and woman and eternally speaking, it has the best return on investment in the Universe!” We need you to invest into the Kingdom now! Amen! Any amount of monthly support will help ensure that we can continue to maintain the number of seminars we were doing before the Covid 19 virus. We have averaged in the last 5 years 29 to 31 seminars a year. Each seminar costs $700 to $1,200. So, collectively, we can do this and have done it for many years. It’s the Lord’s work, and it’s His provision that will fund it. The good news is He will multiply the seed that you sow! Do we hear a great Amen? No better place to plant seed than the souls of men!

We love you all so much,
Tony, Calli, Levi, Krystel, Remy and staff

Wyatt-with-IV

Baby Wyatt tethered to his IV

Well, when it rains it pours they say. I don’t know why the enemy has been so attacking my grandbabies. Krystel and Levi’s little Wyatt has been struck with this awful covid. All the adults in the house battled it out with this thing in December and came out alright. Praise the Lord!

But it seems little Wyatt is fighting a tougher battle with it than we all went through; landing him in the hospital for the last six days. The doctor said we could bring him home to continue his quarantine here as soon as they kept his fever down for 24 hours. I am thankful that the rest of us seem to be still walking with the protection of the antibodies we developed in December. So we are all in better shape to be able to care for him. We still don’t really know how he got it since he never leaves home except for an occasional trip to the pediatrician for a vaccination. The last one of those was a few months ago. No one else in the family is sick, but somehow this virus snuck in anyway. Please pray for our precious baby boy!

Mommy-and-Wyatt

From mama Krystel’s perspective…

This has been a stressful and scary journey. As much as it was scary for me, I can only imagine how scary this has been for our 16 month old son, Wyatt. This pandemic has prevented him from getting to know other people other than his family. Here in the Philippines children are not allowed to go out except for emergencies.

Wyatt is usually energetic and adventurous. It was so hard to see him become so calm and sleepy. As a mother, I was so worried when his mild fever kept increasing and no amount of medicine was reducing it, and then watching him suddenly stop eating. No mother is ever ready to see their baby sick like this. It was difficult to witness him scream and he not understand why he was being wrapped up in blankets, held down and stuck with needles. It made me cry to hear him, yell over and over again “Nein, nein, nein…, Dada, Dada…” (nein means no in German).

It was a relief when the blood and urine tests came back negative for infections, but at the same time, we were in unknown territory and just had more questions. We just had a huge feeling of helplessness.

Under the advice of the ER doctor, we admitted Wyatt on Friday to this same hospital, where only 16 months ago we were welcoming him into this world! They completed more tests and x-rays on our little one. They immediately started him on IV fluids to help combat the dehydration. Levi was able to stay with us the first night. However, daddy was required to go home in the middle of the second night when the nurse came in and confirmed the Covid test had come back positive. Only one of us was allowed to stay. Wyatt and I were immediately moved to another room on the floor reserved for Covid patients.

It has been very stressful and exhausting physically, mentally and emotionally. The facilities were not really set up for the care of a one year old. He was tethered to an IV bag and had to remain in this huge adult size hospital bed so he wouldn’t rip loose the IV. The food they brought for each meal was not very age appropriate either. Thankfully they gave us a refrigerator and allowed my family to bring us a microwave to use. This way mom could prepare food from home that he could eat. They had to bring everything to the guard at the hospital entrance and it was delivered to us here in the room. Then I sent things back, and after the hospital sanitized it all they gave it back to my family.

Wyatt-smile

Joy & Smiles Returning!

God has definitely provided me with the patience and strength to handle the situation we were in. As I am my son’s “security blanket”, poor little Wyatt would belt out ear piercing screams every time I would have to set him down or leave him in the big bed alone. Even though I am only a foot or two from him, it didn’t matter. He insisted I be physically next to him. This presented a major problem when I needed to handle anything. As his mother it was hard to listen to him scream as I was trying to handle his other needs. All I wanted to do is hold him tight and make him feel secure. It has been a blessed relief to watch him get a little better each day; seeing the joy beginning to return to his eyes and a slight smile reappearing on his face. — Krystel

The doctor released Wyatt to come home today. We sanitized their room before we picked them up. So wonderful to have them finally home! After six days in the hospital Wyatt’s medical bill accrued to $2,335.35. I am so sorry to have to come to you for now the second month and ask for your help. But as we have communicated in previous months, Krystel and Levi have been diligently serving the Lord here without an income for the past year and a half. This is devastating to their remaining depleted savings. They are such a blessing here at Dunamis, I don’t know what we would do without them. Please pray for Wyatt’s total healing as he continues his quarantine here at home and pray about helping Krystel and Levi cover the cost of this unexpected medical emergency.

We pray you and yours are all staying safe and healthy. God bless you.

Love, Calli, Tony, Krystel , Levi & Wyatt

Mission Center hit with Covid 19 in the first part of December

We’ve had two seminars on Luzon Island where we live in December and January. The results were amazing considering the conditions we were dealing with because of the current China virus pandemic. Early in December we all were hit with Covid 19 symptoms here at the mission center. All of us were sick for about two weeks but recovered just in time for Christmas! Praise the Lord! We didn’t talk about it to anyone at the time because we didn’t know what could happen if we contacted a hospital here in the Philippines. We did not want a government intervention unless completely necessary. We just took vitamins, rested and quarantined ourselves. We all came through it with no adverse effects. Well, my appetite died for a few weeks, because my taste was affected. Other than that, we quarantined ourselves to our rooms and pretty well, stayed apart in our two houses during that time. We were blessed that none of us had bad respiratory problems with it. After getting over that we did a seminar in the last of December and the results were fantastic. — Tony

December 2020

Weeks after the devastating typhoon, in December, Rodriguez, Rizal or previously named as Montalban was blessed with a Stealth Evangelism Program that provided spiritual relief. The flood wrecked most of the houses and most of the population were placed in evacuation centers, with nothing of their belongings being saved as they were all washed out by the flood that reached over their roofs. We had 1,360 souls saved during the practicums and pastors were happy to come out of their shells brought also by the pandemic. They were amazed how God moved during the training, seeing how open people are in accepting the Lord and were teary eyed as they heard the powerful 357 Magnum gospel message. Both the community and the students were equally blessed. The Gospel provided the new believers Hope from the tragedy they just experienced, and the students had their own breakthrough in soul winning, and in their confidence to share the Good News. Ptra Lorna was sick during the first day, but on the 2nd day she was healed as she was doing the practicum, and she took it as a reward from the Lord for being persistent to learn the new tool. She herself validated that the Gospel shall be accompanied with signs and wonders as evidently felt in her own healing. Pastor Franc averred he had an extra ordinary experience in attending the class and was very much fired up in reaching souls to be brought to the Lord.

January 2021

The year 2021 started with a bang by holding its first class for the year in Caloocan City. There were 1,173 souls won during the practicums, the class was commended for being punctual, organized and disciplined. Elisa claimed that the training made her bold as a lion, and thanked God that she was being equipped to be a strong soldier of Christ, with feet ready to go where God wants her to go to be a witness. Likewise, Jocelyn was born introvert, too shy to face or talk to a stranger, and very unsociable. She had difficulty in making friends, but lo and behold, the practicums made her friendly, easy to approach people and was able to build her confidence level and said though she may not be the best soul-winner, she has become braver and ready to hit the streets to talk to people using 357 Magnum soul winning technique. A group chat was made and this group has continued to win souls on a daily basis after the seminar. They say, they became addicted to sharing the Gospel of Salvation and will never end the day without winning a soul for Jesus. Truly, God is amazing and as we adhere to His Command, and as we are commissioned to do the Great Commission, He brings this simple tool yet powerful by the name of 357 Magnum Technique. This pandemic can never be the reason to stop the spread of the Gospel, but it gave each us a strong resolve to become fearless, and an unstoppable soul-winner using the technique.

Glory To God forever more, Ptra Remy Mordeno

Van is almost paid for only $3,100 to pay it off (Big Praise the Lord!)

In December we asked for help with paying for our school van we found to replace the one we sold during the construction of the New Dunamis Mission Center. We had to sell the former one to give us capital to finish the building. We bought a slightly used 2016 Toyota Grandia van with only 6,358 miles on it. It was a real deal! We put down $12,000 cash and made short term loans for the rest. Well, Praise the wonderful name of Jesus, we have already received $13,900 of the $17,000 which leaves only $3,100 left to pay it off. Please join with us with a big, I mean BIG Praise the Lord Jesus for the awesome support and many, many prayers we received for that wonderful vehicle. By the way we are taking the new van on its maiden voyage on the 8th of February to do a seminar up North of Quezon City. God is good all the time! This van will be able to ferry us to the seminars on Luzon Island and some of the close Islands south of Manila. Any place we can get to by land or ferry boats to the local Islands down South. Thank you again from all of us for the continued support to spread the Gospel and train the troops of God’s magnificent army. We love you all, Tony, Calli, Krystel, Levi, and the Dunamis Staff
