Progress on the new Mission Center

All we can say is Wow! The new mission center is going to have a foundation that could handle up to 6 stories! It will be so much better than what we even dreamed. My contractor (Ivy) is a born again Christian that plays the keyboard at Victory Church here at the Acacia Hotel in Alabang where we are attending church. They are putting a foundation in that will be a huge deterrent to earth quakes which are possible in the future.

Above: Pastor Tony checking on the workers! Which he does several times a day, plus we have our Dunamis employee Julius that has been with us nearly 15 years as our all-around man. He is doing an excellent job of making sure the workers are busy and all accounted for daily. No messing around with Julius there. It helps that we live on the lot next to the building site. By the way our Engineer (Paolo) goes to Victory Church in Tagaytay. He is the one that designed the foundation. I’m so thankful God brought Christian men to help us build His Mission Center.

You can see in these two pictures the workers working on the massive columns of the house! Under the column is a huge footing with tie beams inner locked with each other all the way across the structure. The center will have 2 stories with a large office, bath, and dorm room on the 3rd level built into the attic areas which are really large, so basically a 3 story. This will give us almost the same capacity as the former building did yet all areas are better utilized and more cost efficient to air-condition. Plus modern fire prevention materials used to make it much safer than the old center. The Lord says all things work together for the good of those that love the Lord and are called unto His purposes. There are still questions in our hearts about this tragic event happening in our lives, but we feel God will reveal to us in time the “work together for the good part”, Amen?

War Machine a “Permanent Presence” in Asia

Remember because we couldn’t use the old foundations after excavating them we determined that it would cost and additional $15,000 to build the new columns, footings, and tie beams. We are mentioning this again in this newsletter in case you would like to invest some seed into the foundations of a soul winning machine like Dunamis International Mission Center here in Manila, giving us a permanent presence in Asia. It is a war machine for the Lord in the Battle for Men’s Souls. You can take this eternal opportunity by sowing into the very foundations of the new Center. Construction is going full blast right now, so please HELP us!!!!! God is our provider. Amen?!! So far we have received $1,500.00 towards the foundations.

Pastora Remy & Pastora Rose ready to board pump boat.

Dunamis Staff in Lanao del Norte Mindanao for Batches 1817 & 1818

Stealth Evangelism would not be here without the support of generous people whose heartbeat is exactly the same as the heartbeat of Jesus for finding the lost souls. Thank you for sowing into the 2,500 souls that were won in several locations, first in Laoac, Pangasinan in Luzon Island and 2 classes in Lanao del Norte, Northern Part of Mindanao. Still deeply moved and touched from the results of the 2nd class in Maranding, Lala, Lanao del Norte, held on June 18-20, we are resolved to continue to saturate this island before BBL or Bangsamoro Law is about to be passed for final approval. The Bangsamoro Law will turn over a huge section of Mindanao Island to the Muslims for their governance. I totally disagree with the Philippines signing over of any land to the Muslims or any single people group. Hence, there is more urgency to win souls as 9 out of 10 are lost. No excuses, no reason for any form of delay!!! Glory to God! Maranding is one of the 27 barangays of Lala in the province of Lanao del Norte, Northern island of Mindanao. This is 60km away from Marawi City, previously struck by war and under martial Law just a few months back, our team landed on Ozamis airport, did a pump-boat ride to Lanao del Norte where we were to do Batch 1817.
Batch 187

Batch 1817 Graduation Class

Batch 1817 included 20 pastors, old and young, but they all had one common denominator which is their desire to intensify their service to the Lord through the Great Commission. They had been hungry for souls but did not know how to do it powerfully and effectively.

Pastor Rey, in the beginning complained about doing the practicums, he felt as if he were going back to his younger days when he was sharing the Good News boldly to everyone he met, but then he had a breakthrough in his passion and commitment to win souls as he was revived from the joy of seeing people saved like never before.

class-trio

Left: Pastora Remy teaching. Center: Pastora Rose helping students during class. Right: Jannen and her daughter during first day of class.

Mommy wins Daddy to the Lord!

Jannen Claire, a lady on fire to serve God attended the first day with her baby. Her husband went to work and she had no one to look after her baby during the first day of training.  She was flawless in her presentation. Coming home after her training she won her husband to the Lord and the next day attended the second day of the class without the baby. The Lord touched her husband to stay home and baby sit so she could attend the seminar and fully focused. Praise the Lord!

Passion for souls leads to healing!

Merilita, has a very intense longing to attend the seminar. She had to collect sea shells early morning from the sea shore so she could pay for her transportation and for the seminar’s registration fee. While doing that, her right foot was strained and she came to the class limping. When the group was sent out to the harvest field she went without any qualms nor second thought. Lo and behold, before her first soul was won, she felt healing in her leg and she walked normally without limping or feeling pain!! Glory to God!! He is faithful and truly how beautiful are the feet of those who bring Good News!!! I thank God for the lives of our supporters of any form, prayers, cash or pledges! Without them we would not be able to receive blessing of hearing our student’s testimonies of how the seminar impacted their lives. We stand tall and mighty proud as God sent us people with generous hearts to make this possible. Truly God will not only “make their feet beautiful” but He promised in Matthew 28:18-20 that as we obey the Great Commission, HE WILL BE WITH US even to the end! May this promise be fulfilled in our lives until the end has come! Every time a soul is won, you who sow in this has a part. Let us all join hands to Win the Philippines, Win the World for Jesus!!He is always with us come what may!!! Thank you Lord! –   – Pastora Remy Mordeno

“Lift up your eyes and see”

One Pastor at 64 years old from Batch 1818 has been a church goer since she was four years old. She was born again at 17 years old and became a pastor at 21. After 43 years she won souls during the first practicum of the seminar and continued winning through the next 3 practicums becoming an avid soul winner. She was crying for the many years she wasted for not even doing evangelism at all. “…forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Phil. 3:13-14

Note from Tony: You know this is not uncommon amongst our pastors and leaders in the seminars, most have never won souls like this and are so emotional about this special gift being given to them through the training. Most Christians have not done a lot (if any) soul winning, because we haven’t known what to say which causes fear of rejection. Fear of rejection is the #1 reason people do not witness! Stealth Evangelism teaches our students what to say in a very simple way and opens the eyes of the believer to the harvest field. Remember the scripture John 4:35, “Lift up your eyes and see that the fields are white and ready for harvest”. Dunamis is putting the sickle in the hands of the sower so he can reap! The only difference between the sower and the reaper is the sickle.   – Pastor Tony Poole

Do you have any war stories?

Friends when you get to heaven our war stories about winning 10’s of thousands and millions of souls to the Lord will be your war stories when you sow into this ministry. All the money given to this ministry goes to the ministry of training God’s army to win the nations to the Lord. Please make a decision to help populate the Kingdom of God with the souls of men on earth. We only get one shot at this life brothers and sisters. Only one time can we live it! Let’s spend our time and resources making sure that more people enter into the gates of heaven because of all our efforts.

“The only thing you take to heaven is the souls of men!”   – Pastor Tony Poole!

Building-Permit

Glory to God!
Dunamis Mission Center rises out of the Ashes!!

YEEEHAAA! Praise The Lord!!! After 27 months waiting and wading through the miles of red tape, we finally have our building permit in hand! Construction has officially begun on the new mission center. It’s hard to believe it has been over two years since the fire. We never imagined as we were running out of the house that morning that it would be so long before we could return to live here.

Upon excavating the former foundation that we were planning on building the new center on, it’s to our disappointment that we found that we can’t use the old columns nor the tie beams for the old structure. They were just too damaged from the fire and demolition of the old structure. This means that we are looking at an additional $10,000to $15,000 (which I wouldn’t bank on the lower amount). Lots of demolition and unknown but definitely a financial set back.

We are telling all of you about this in case you’d like to invest some seed into the foundations of a soul winning machine we call Dunamis International Mission Center here in Manila. It is a war machine for the Lord in the Battle for Men’s Souls. You can take this eternal opportunity by sowing into the very foundations of the new Center. We hope to have the new columns and tie beams poured in the next two weeks so HELP!!!!! God is our provider. Amen?!!

Tony-teaching

Tony teaching in Oslob in Cebu City

May Seminars have been awesome!

If you knew your family or loved ones were having to sleep on the couches of friends…or in stairwells…or even in the street, you would do anything to alleviate their situations and bring comfort to their lives. If you knew people were drowning and you know in your heart that you are able to save them and bring them to a safe place, I am sure you would take action to help them. Well, that is what Dunamis International School of Missions actually did in the month of May. Trainings were held in places isolated and remote from the city, which we can call “uttermost part of the earth.” Where churches are dead and just in the paradigm of maintaining their churches…places where one on one evangelism is yet to be restored and has taken a back seat and was considerably omitted in the lives of the believers.

This May, God led us to places where there is an urgent need to fan the flames of soul winning. Dumaguete City in Negros Oriental Visayas Island, Oslob in Cebu City, Visayas Island, Pangyan, Glan in Sarangani Province Mindanao were our harvest fields and more than 2,000 souls won to the Lord and over 100 pastors and leaders were trained to be fearless and powerful Gospel ambassadors. Their paradigm shift is very evident and they committed to a lifetime of winning souls to the Lord. A 62 year old pastor in Sarangani Province admitted having a first time experience in one on one soul winning and cannot contain the joy she had in doing so. Another pastor in Oslob Cebu praised God for an answered prayer as she had been trying to win souls for a year but those people whom she had been teaching for a year would not pray the sinner prayer. But lo and behold in 5 minutes using the 357 magnum technique these same people finally accepted the Lord Jesus. The hard work, sweat, and blood we poured into these seminars really paid off! We can proudly say by God’s grace that our students became addicted to soul winning.

In the coming months we will be facing massive expenses as we have numerous requests to conduct Stealth Evangelism Seminars in different parts of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. I believe God will touch the hearts of people whose heartbeats are one with Jesus finding the lost souls. There is not much time left and there is no option BUT to fulfill the mandate of the Lord as expressed in Matthew 28:18-19 and as they take part in our mission thru their support, they can be assured of God’s promise in Matthew 28:20 that He will be with us till the end of the ages. Now is the time and it is really urgent for we do not know when Jesus comes.

Glory to God!
Pastora Remy Mordeno

Note from Pastor Tony: Please begin monthly support in any amount to help bring these seminars to churches all over the Philippines. These seminars bring hope to pastors that are worn out trying to keep the doors of their churches open and unable to bring the harvest in because of the lack of knowledge of evangelism which would make their church grow in membership thus having more members, they would have more finances, and more workers in the ministry. You can make a difference in the lives of so many pastors and the lives of so many people who are saved monthly through the ministries of these churches. Join us now with whatever you can. Remember you eat an elephant only one bite at a time! So your gift will count for souls every month.

We love you all,
Tony, Calli, and the Dunamis staff!

Mindoro Mission Trip

Taking Mindoro Island for Jesus!
1,147 Souls won in 3 days!

Roxas, in the province of Oriental Mindoro, Philippines has a population of 53,201 people. Oriental & Oxidental Mindoro have a population of over 1,331,000 total for the island. We have two more seminars coming up in Mindoro in June. It’s our desire to light the fires of evangelism on this Island, because like most of the Islands they have been neglected for a long time. We discovered that they are purposely not teaching English in their schools which is an effort to land lock the young people to the Island because of the lack of language skills. God has a calling on all the Philippines to be the launching pad for missions to all the world so hopefully through the spreading of the Gospel they will have a change of heart after we take this Island for Jesus. Halleluiah!

Folks, I hope you are getting a picture of what we are trying to do here. We will do another 10 to 15 seminars on Mindoro to make sure that we saturate the Island with an army of soul winners. That will easily equip 200 to 300 churches and create a soul winning army of two to three thousand. To put it into perspective, this seminar was our primer. We only had 5 pastors in this graduating class. The next seminar will be big, probably 40 to 50 pastors and so on. The more pastors, the more trainers we will create, the larger the army of soul winners. We will take this Island!

You can help get this done by sending monthly support. You can be a part of taking these Islands for Jesus. You will have war stories when you get to Heaven by following our progress and supporting it. Any monthly gift will help so don’t think someone else is doing it. We need your help, just like those pastors need our help. If we don’t do it, who will? Please join us in winning the Philippines to the Lord! Soon, we will bring Stealth Evangelism to the US and the rest of the world! Help us make it happen!

Love you all so much, Pastor Tony & Calli Poole

Mindoro Seminar

Details on Mindoro Seminar

Pastora Remy Modeno

The team travelled 3 hours by car to take a ferry boat ride for more than 3 hours, to bring us to Calapan Mindoro which is 128 km or 3 more hours to Roxas, where the training was held. (Total of 9 hours travel!) 31 persons registered for the class including 8 pastors headed by the host pastor, Michael Morante. It is amazing how God connects us to His remnants as the Church team is called ‘ACCELLERATE’, which they really did, accelerating in soul winning and church growth.

Pastor Michael had a childhood friend whom he had been trying to win to the Lord since they were kids. During the second day of training his friend called and he immediately notified his friend that he will come to visit them that night. On his visit, he witnessed to him using the technique we taught him, his friend and his family of 5 children were won to the Lord without any difficulty. The family and Pastor Michael were all in tears as they realized the father/his childhood friend has given his kids the best gift ever – the gift of salvation!!! Glory to God!!

Mindoro Seminar

Real Lack of Evangelism

There has been a real lack of evangelism on Mindoro Island, so churches are small with few members, which are a majority of youth. We had a number of youth in this seminar. God is bringing a change on that Island. Here are some of their testimonies of the Seminar.

Felicity is a pastor’s daughter and at 11 years old promises to be a powerful soul winner. At the onset, she felt stammering and shy but from the third practicum she could not stop how aggressive and bold she could be in sharing the Gospel. Her church mate motivated her that she can do it, and true enough, she had a break through from 2 presentations and 4 presentations in the first and second practicums, she did total of 32 presentations in the third and fourth practicums. Amazing results for an amazing girl!! Thanks be to God!!

Justine, 15 years old did the highest number of presentations – total of 56, while another youth Reymark won 76 souls, the highest number of souls won during this class. Justine became so addicted to it that he went to sleep early and woke up at 4am to start his practicum. And he averred he cannot stop himself sharing the Gospel. He felt the need to approach every soul that could be walking towards hell so they could be led to the Lord.

Sis Fancy had a great challenge winning her family members, including her problem son who is fond of drinking. When she heard the story of the Forgotten Person, it struck a chord in her and she declared it is now the appointed time for her family to be born again. After the session, she was in a hurry to speak to her son the verses of 357 Magnum, and son being sober, accepted the Lord without hesitation and told her he loves her. They were both crying and hugged each other which they have not done for a long time.

Martin is very happy that he does not need a year or so for a person to be a friend and win their souls to the Lord. With this tool, he is positive that as he wins a friend, he will definitely win their hearts to the Lord also!!! What a bonus! Hallelujah!

The tiredness of travelling for 9 hours by car and boat, all this fatigue, was wiped away hearing their testimonies. We all went home fulfilled and thankful to the Lord for the privilege of creating impact to the lives not only of our fellow workers in the vineyard, but of the unbelievers who later on received the Lord in their hearts. Thank You Lord, for making us instruments of bringing miracle to the new believers, and bearers of hope and good news, the only GOOD NEWS this world has. Each class reaffirms our commitment to further advance His kingdom and occupy till He comes. We are so blessed to be part of this undertaking, and we all believe God is releasing a bountiful reward for everyone who is involved in The Great Commission.

We are traveling on Sunday to Sarangani Province, where 2 classes will be held. With expectant hearts, we know we will again bring home stories of victory as there is victory in the name of Jesus!

Thanks be to God, Remy Mordeno

Pt. All

Special request for our special brother!

Some of you will recognize our precious brother Pastor Al Regis who has served as a volunteer with us for about 5 years. He loves this ministry and is quite fruitful in serving this ministry also. He helps Pastora Remy set up seminars and facilitates some of the scheduling of these seminars himself. He also goes with us to other islands and helps as a monitor and practicum coordinator. I love Al, and you can tell by that sweet smile of his, you would love him if you knew him. Quite a guy!

AL had a stroke about 2 years ago and lost his voice for a short time. He later got it back but he still has to be careful and not over stress himself. His doctor wants him to do a MRI because he has been experiencing excruciating pains in his head from time to time. Al doesn’t have a real income except we give him a love gift when he works around the office and when he goes on trips with us. So, is income is looooow! The MRI cost money that he doesn’t have. He is one of God’s priceless soldiers and needs some help! I just want you to pray about helping him with the MRI expense which would be about $300. Anything else you want to do, he’s worth it! He’s a little guy, but the demons of hell run from him! HaHa! We need more like him!
