Davao: Our beginning and ending of 2018!

It is ironic that the year 2018 both started and ended in Davao. As we may recall our first batch for this year was also in Davao and now Batch 1831 is in Davao in a different municipality about 3 hours away from the previous one. But this is not a coincidence, as everything that happens is appointed by the Lord of Harvest who has given us more than 800 new believers and received the best Christmas gift – the gift of salvation, and has Jesus in their hearts, the very reason for this season.

Our host pastor, Pastor Glenn, is the Executive Director of a large evangelical denomination and a huge Bible school that has saturated the whole Mindanao Island has successfully completed the 3-day class. It was a struggle for him as his mind is steadily based in high category of both theory and theological concept, but thanks be to God, the Lord has changed him from being dogmatic and transformed his mind set on soul winning. His patience has been tested and his passion has increased.

A Father’s Legacy Fulfilled!

His wife, Pastora Gerilin, is a pastor’s daughter, and she was so broken hearted for years that nobody among her 6 siblings, including her, has followed the footsteps of her father as a powerful and consistent soul winner. In fact she desired to be laid hands by her father so he could transfer his evangelism spirit to her, but so sad she did not make it in time to see her father alive. Attending this training was a challenge to her and she was fearful of the required 30 presentations of the Gospel, but to her surprise on her first practicum she won 6 souls. She won her student from Kinder to high school to the Lord and a neighbor for 8 years, both of whom she has never witnessed to. Now, with tears in her eyes, she said that this is the beginning of her life as a soul winner, just like what her father wanted, to leave them a legacy. indeed, her father must be smiling and is proud of her….and the Lord, too!! Glory to God forever and ever.

Thank You for All Your Help in 2018!

As we end the year, from the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank everyone who had been part of this Harvest. Thank you to all our volunteers, Pastora Rose Zanoria, Pastor Joel Marquez, Colleen Reduta, Pastora Ellen Labrador, and everyone who had joined us in doing the mobile classes. You dedicated your life to expanding the Kingdom of God (though it is not easy as the devil surely will do everything to thwart us) I thank all those who supported us in any form – prayers and financial support. It is a BIG deal to us! You have not just responded to God’s call, but you have offered something of eternal value, despite that this world, almost everyone is chasing after money and material possessions. WE THANK YOU ALL for believing in this ministry and standing with us, at whatever cost. Thank you for your offerings of sacrifices so this ministry can move forward. Imagine if all Christians will be activated in soul winning and in missionary calling, we will experience the greatest revival on earth. May you be blessed more than you have blessed us, in Jesus name, AMEN!!! With Jesus in our hearts, may His heartbeat be our heartbeat, and that is to seek and find the lost. Share Jesus in season and out that is every day!!

Help Pray to End the Delay in Construction

We had eagerly expected to give you all an update on the progress of the building this month, but since December 7th we have been shut down while we dealt with height restrictions. We have received a go ahead from the city building department, but are still waiting for our community to come into compliance with that decision. With everyone here and there with Christmas plans it is taking some more time to get their board all together. We hope to be back with the construction after Christmas, but know at least we can begin again in January.

We want to ask that you pray vehemently that satan’s devices be bound from attacking Dunamis International School of Evangelism! We also have had some attack that could only be orchestrated by the enemy. So please combat this with the power of the Lord through prayer. We have had some financial impact from this also. Main thing, we are very weary of this battle and need spiritual encouragement. We will stand in agreement with all of you that the enemy is already defeated and all things work together for the Good those who love the Lord and are called unto His purpose. There are very important decisions that need to be made and we want God’s hand on everything. Thank you partners for warring in the Heavenlies for us!

Worth it all…We will not stop…We will not fail!

Celebrating Calli’s Birthday!

I had an awesome early birthday dinner with friends, Doug and Karen Stanton, who stopped by as they were flying home from Australia to Alabama. We had a wonderful couple of days to catch up and fellowship. Then on Saturday, on my actual birthday, we were able to have our final big pour on the mission center. The third floor is now in place and we will be giving you all an update in next months’ newsletter. Please keep this project in your prayers. It has been a long struggle to get the mission center rebuilt. We will be so happy to get moved in next year. It will have been over three years since we ran out that fateful morning with our Mission Center engulfed in flames. But God is faithful! He has held us all the way! Honestly we could use support for the finishing of the Center so pray and ask the Lord what He would have you do. We ask you to pray for us because of construction problems that we need the Lords hand on. We just need your fervent prayers to get us to the end, Amen?

Sharing the Gospel on the streets of Camotes Island during practicums.

November Seminars on Cebu and Camotes

Almost 50 pastors and leaders were trained in 2 locations, which were three hours apart by land trip and another two and a half hours by sea on board a ferry boat. Tuburan is on Cebu and is the largest municipality in the province in terms of land area, compared to Camotes Islands which is a group of 3 major islands, 1 small islet and is divided between 4 municipalities. It is sometimes called as Lost Horizon of the South because of its unspoiled beauty. Imagine the pristine crystal clear water, the powdery white sand, fresh environment and the breath taking view of the sunset. Over 900 souls were led to the Lord. Certainly this place will soon be more beautiful as “new creations” are birthed in this island at the onset of Stealth Evangelism Program. New batch of soul winners are ushered in to the Army of God, armed with the atomic bomb in their hands -357 Magnum (evangelism tool using the verses John 3:3,5 & 7)

Gemma a church leader, spoke positively that she knows a lot of evangelism tools but she cannot proceed to use them as she is struggling on how to start a conversation with a stranger. She is too happy now that she can easily approach a stranger and can open a conversation based on the pointers given in step one of the tool which is establishing relationship. And she remembered well what not to discuss during the inter action with a “prospect soul”. Now she can win a friend and at the same time win a soul for Jesus, Hallelujah!!

Pastor Elny is so happy and grateful to God for the Stealth Evangelism Program as he is convinced that this will certainly help a lot in growing a church and more so, he will be able to impact a lot of existing church members who are in quandary on how to serve God, by teaching them the tool. He envisions an army of soul winners who will win the whole island to Jesus. In no time at all with a fearless army, Jesus reigns in Camotes Islands.

Erlinda, a born again Christian and leader in their church for 20 years, but sadly she never approached anyone to share the Good News of Salvation. During the practicums, she won her family members to Jesus and she is no longer afraid to speak up for the Lord.

Tuburan and Camotes Island have their dots connected to Jesus through this effective and powerful soul winning training. They were able to put a security system in place to protect their physical being, which is Jesus. Sometimes we think we are secured and our security system is in place, but oftentimes we are confronted with the truth on what God’s desires and purposes for our lives, for our wealth, for everything we have. And sad to say, we realized that our security system is connected to a worthless power source, as illustrated in the story of a rich man in Luke 18: 8-30. As Jesus said “Come, Follow Me”, He is telling us the way of making all of us connected to Him if we heed His call, we connect to the Main Power for our Spiritual Security System. We must aim to bring this connection to every lost soul, so that individual security system is connected to the Main Source. Jesus said “Come, Follow me”. You responded to His Call, but what about others? Would you like to help them connect to Jesus for their Spiritual Security System to be installed from the Main Source of Power (Jesus). Thank you for the fuel you give to make the vehicle move. Thank you for sending us and we will go even to the uttermost part of the earth! God bless you all! We still need support to bring more seminars to these unreached areas of the Philippines, Praise God!

Pastors Dan and Marichu Sabior of Cordova, Cebu City… Good Job! Reeling in the souls!!!

Literally…Fishers of Men!

Luke 5:10b: “Do not be afraid, from now on you will be fishers of men”

Pastoring a church for many years, Pastor Danilo Sabior and wife, Marichu had been boldly and aggressively taking steps to further advance the Kingdom of God. They have been very creative and innovative to ensure the mandate of Great Commission is well complied. They formed the “Dunamis Band” that competes with other bands in different areas and has already been awarded “Champion” many times. This band travels anywhere upon request to conduct free musical concerts for evangelistic purposes. They have also tapped the doors of police stations in the region using the tool they learned in Dunamis Stealth Evangelism. And have conducted basketball clinics and sports activities integrated with the 357 Magnum soul winning technique. They even won to the Lord Drug Surrenderees (drug addicts who have voluntarily surrendered to the police that are trying to get off their drugs) using the same tool and have created a specific ministry to cater to these people.

Their latest pet is the “Island Ministry” using a boat to go from island to island. This couple has literally become fishers of men. They even built their own boat to comply with the command of Jesus. They target the islands in Visayas regions that have remained unreached by the Gospel. They feed fishermen on the sea and lead them to the Lord. The boat still has some requirements and is not yet fully complete but partially operational. Being alumni of Dunamis International School of Missions we are so proud to encourage any of you that would feel led to support this powerful yet humble couple and their ministry that spun off our training several years ago. They are truly fishers of men as the Bible describes.

An October to remember!

Dunamis Team takes 8 Hour Ferry Boat ride to Romblon!

October to Remember: 75% Roman Catholic, 5-9% Muslims, with a population of 293,000, Romblon is a fertile ground for Evangelism, winning 776 new souls to the Lord. Reached by an 8 hour super ferry boat ride. Our team composed of volunteers, Pastor Joel Marquez, Sister Shine Tiberio, both alumni of Dunamis International School of Missions and our own staff Pastora Remy Mordeno, with Pastor Christian Teodosio, a graduate of Stealth Evangelism Program in Aklan who also organized this batch, went forth for His name’s sake (3 John 7), men and women God sent out on His endeavours (thru the Founder President Tony Poole) who are ordinary human people, but are extra ordinary in passion to carry out the task of bringing the sickle for the end time harvest.

Ptr Miguel was convicted of neglecting evangelism and felt that God is not delighted fully well in what he has been doing in the ministry and was grateful he attended the seminar and the fires of soul winning sparked in him.

Pastora Nery was so glad to have the courage to share the Gospel to their Barangay Captain and Councilor without difficulty nor hesitation from them, but received a hug as a gratitude for her doing so.

Pastor Ronqulio vowed that they need to make soul winning intentional and prioritize it over and above their other programs. Pastor Nenita is in a rush to teach her team and positive that their church membership will grow in exponentially. Pastor Nicandro, a pastor for 8 years, found the Stealth Evangelism technique very effective as the religious found it irresistible and undebatable, thus, they cannot help but accept the Lord in their hearts. Hallelujah!! Pastor Claro confessed he used to be very timid but the training made him a fearless warrior of God and he also felt the anointing of God in his lips as he did the presentation of the Good News.

Methodist are blessed by the training in Zambales!

In Macarang, Zambales, which was a 9 hour land trip, over a thousand souls received Jesus in their hearts during the training and opened the doors of a school for the Pastors to obtain a regular schedule to minister. Majority of the attendees were Methodist and Pastora Susana found the tool to be so easy and simple to learn and execute. Pastor Joan finally led all his children to the Lord and is keen on doing a family baptism for them ASAP.

Each one of us God has called to ministry. It may differ from one another, whether Pastor or a doctor, as long as we are born again, God has a purpose for our lives and a divine plan to advance the kingdom of God. And I thank God that He has connected us to persons with a heart for souls, in strategic times and places, to help us accomplish His Divine Plan of Salvation. We received the gift of being born again, and we are mandated to share this with others. As this planet is about to reach a population of 8 Billion, the world is in chaos and in a quandary. There is an urgent need to spread the Good News. There is only one HOPE, and that is in Jesus, and the time is NOW! John 9:4, I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
Amos 8:11-12
“Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord God,
“when I will send a famine on the land—
not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water,
but of hearing the words of the Lord.
They shall wander from sea to sea,
and from north to east;
they shall run to and fro, to seek the word of the Lord,
but they shall not find it
……………………for tomorrow might be TOO LATE!! Glory to God forever more.
