Above: Krystel and I, a little over a week ago were waiting in line to get into our local grocery store. They only allow 50 people in at a time. We went out again a few days ago and you can’t get in anywhere unless you are wearing a mask. And they take your temperature before you enter. As of yesterday we have been given a pass, and only one person can go out for emergency supplies. I don’t know if Tony and I will even be allowed to go out because they are trying to keep seniors in their houses. The rules seem to change every day.

Sheltering in place!

Well the corona virus has affected all of us, no matter what side of the planet we are on. Early on we realized we were going to have to cancel all our upcoming seminars. (Rescheduling them for later when this is over!) But things got a little crazy here too with the run on grocery stores similar to what I’ve heard y’all are experiencing there in the states. The alcohol, hand sanitizers, and Lysol spray were gone almost in an instant, haha. But I don’t think our shelves are as bare here as some of the photos I see coming from elsewhere around the world. I guess most people here don’t have the financial ability to stock up as much as they would like to. Most of the people don’t own a refrigerator much less have any freezer space! And the common Filipino doesn’t require toilet paper, so there is still plenty of that around, haha! The schools shut down rather quickly and now everything is shut down except for the grocery stores, pharmacies, banks and the like. Tony knew it was getting bad when McDonalds closed its doors. (It’s his favorite place to go read the morning paper, drink coffee, and mingle with some of the local guys that do the same.) The once bumper to bumper traffic with all the jeepneys, tricycles and buses is gone and the streets are eerily quiet. We are concerned more about all the people that are unable to work during this time.

A few of our guys that lived close enough came to work for about a week until the community banned all of the construction workers. We were able to keep two guys on as long as they lived on site. So Conrad and Marlon chose to do that so they could continue to work.

Just a couple of photos I found from around Manila, we are seeing scenes like these daily.

Last time I was out we saw the military moving about. They reassure us on the local news that we are not under martial law, but we do have a curfew, and must be home by 8:00pm. That’s easy to do because there is nowhere to go anyway, haha. Most of the hardware stores are closed, but we have found one that is still doing business at least for now. So we can still get a few supplies as we need them. But we don’t know how long they will be allowed to remain open.

We are so close to getting everything completed, but looks like this will definitely stretch it out a bit more. The Lord is in control. Our time is in His hands. We pray you all stay safe and healthy and that the virus dies off and this crisis ends sooner than anyone thinks!

A note from Tony:

Well this is something that I’ve never seen in my 73 years on earth! I know the enemy is trying to disrupt the prosperity that the U.S. has developed under President Trump’s administration. Well, let me say this, God is in control no matter how things look to you and me! His word says that all things work together for the good of those that love the Lord and are called unto His purposes. Friends, if you are born again and love Jesus count it all good, because God will have the last laugh and the devil will be shown to be an absolute lying fool.

Guess what my friends, WE WIN! This virus thing is from the enemy’s house and it will not stand. Psa.34:7-9 “The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him. And delivers them. O taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh fear the Lord you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.” Here we are fearing something from the devil. I say, let’s repent and fear God that He would reward us with good health and let His angels deal with Corona 19. Greater is He that is in us than he that is in this world!

Psa. 17-19 “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears. And delivers them out of all their troubles” (Including Corona 19) “The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart. And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all!!!!!!” Folks we are delivered from Corona 19 because we are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus, Amen!

We are preparing for the next wave of evangelism explosion by Dunamis International School of Evangelism. The near future on earth will be a great harvest time for those that have lost their confidence in everything of man because of the perils that we are going through. People’s hearts are going to be more open to God than ever before because we’ve all be thrown head first into the fox holes of our homes, to wait in fear for the devastated blast of the enemy Corona 19. We must be ready to minister to those that have been hold up in their homes and so called safe places as they cautiously peer out to see if they can move about safely. It’s during these months of instability that we will see a great harvest of souls my friends. I was at a hardware store that was still open 5 days ago, it is always busy with an abundance of customers waiting, but that day I was the only customer. It was the perfect opportunity! I led one of the clerks and her brother, a security guard, to the Lord. THEY WERE READY!

I’m asking you again and I will continue to ask as long as I live to sow financial seeds into these countless souls by sowing into our training. Our training will equip the pastors and leaders with the Stealth Evangelism Program which will enable their churches to effectively do one-on-one evangelism with big results. This will help their churches grow exponentially through effective evangelism programs where they win their neighborhoods to the Lord. Remember the only thing you can take with you from this life to heaven is the souls of men! Sow into the Kingdom of God everlasting seeds of faith and glory by prayerfully and financially helping us reach out to the lost not only here but throughout the world. When people are born again they become living epistles of God. Please read the prophecy below that was given over me at a service at Community Church in Hereford Texas by Dr. James Maloney from Christ for the Nations on June 10, 1997.

“Let that mantle rest upon you. Let it be brought about. People have to be prepared for some of the things I’ve put in your spirit to share with them. The words, the words that proceed out of my mouth, out of yours will not return unto Me void! You are going to find some of the promises I’ve spoken unto you. I watch over My word to preform it, that there is that appointed time when you’re going to see the fulfillment of those things. Despise not the day of small beginnings! Cause I’ve called you to disciple, I have called you saith the Lord, to minister , to implement, to cause an excellent spirit to rest upon those. To put the armor, to put the weaponry in their hands, and cause My people to overcome and walk in victory. My intention is for every one of My people to walk in victory. My word says it’s so, you will proclaim it, it will be established in the lives of those people. An exceeding great army shall be raised up! If you will put your eyes upon Me, there will be a multiplication and they will be your ministry. They will be the living epistle known and read of Me! Your life will extend beyond your very life! Hallelujah!”

Right now, there are 12 million Filipino Contract laborers all over the world, if they were all born again they would be the largest mission force in history. They will be the living epistles with the Word of God in each of them. Our school motto is “Win the Philippines! Win the World!”

Become a partner in reaching the world for Jesus. Whatever we accomplish, it’s your war story as much as it is ours. It takes us all to win this war my friends. You’re buying war bonds that you can cash in, in Heaven, Hallelujah! Help us win the war for men’s souls! We love you all and ask you to please pray for us and we’ll be praying for all of you the same!

“Win the Philippines, Win the World”

Dunamis Motto!

On February 8th, just 9 days shy of the fourth anniversary of the fire, we were able to begin to move into the new mission center. We are still waiting on the official “move in permit” but city officials gave us permission to go ahead and move in. Haha! Workers are still around trying to finish completely, but it is so great to finally be able to occupy!

The new center is truly awesome, and will bring glory to the Lord as humble pastors come here to be trained in the Stealth Evangelism Program which will enable them to create armies of Soul winning soldiers to “Win the Philippines!” and then “Win the world!” During the last 4 years we have continued doing the training through mobile trainings on the other islands which has been really effective and we will continue these impactive trainings in the future. This enables us to reach places where pastors could never dream of receiving such trainings. They can’t afford to travel to Manila for the training and can barely afford to travel much distance even on their own Island. Our heart goes out to these pastors that are in extreme poverty and need the training so much to build their churches. They are so sacrificial that they continue in ministry many times holding 2 or more jobs to keep the doors of their churches open. For years we have been training these pastors so they can build their churches thru the harvest. As they win new converts their church grows because of the evangelism. Ultimately they have more members and more members mean more workers in the church and more finances to build the church. We want desperately to help the pastors get their churches into a position that they don’t have to work secular jobs and they can pastor their members without this extreme poverty. Do I hear an Amen?!

Praise the Lord! We are now about to continue with even greater momentum. Now when pastors come here they are so blessed, most having never stayed in a beautiful place like this and they are so inspired by the love and the awesome Stealth Evangelism Training! When you partner with us, you are helping these pastors build their churches with new converts! That means you’re sowing into souls of men that will be in heaven because of your giving. There is no more noble cause on earth than the winning of souls, giving people the opportunity to know Jesus. Can you think of anything more important to your family than the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ? As a father, I led my daughter Felicity to the Lord when she was a little girl. When she was 32 she died serving the Lord in the mission field. In her life time there was nothing I ever gave her that meant more than her relationship to Jesus! Please hear me! We need to reach the world with the Gospel, reach as many as we can before we die. So this is your opportunity to sow into many, many, many people like Felicity who is now with Jesus. Can you remember what it was like to not know Jesus? So there are literally billions that need Jesus! Let’s do something about it together. We are coming in to the end of the construction of the new center with about $58,000 debt which is not much, but it is hard for us to service any debt, and we know that the Lord would have us debt free, Amen? Please pray about helping with that and anything monthly would be a huge blessing enabling us to travel to the remote places on the Islands and hold seminars for these wonderful, humble pastors that need God’s training!

First Seminar in “uttermost part of the earth”

After having one seminar in Davao, Mindano Island canceled because of an earthquake, another canceled from ash fall from the nearby Taal volcano (we even had quite the mess to clean up here at the mission center!), and just last week we had to postpone another one because of a military operation due to insurgency! Wow, the enemy is really mad! Finally we were able to complete our first batch of 2020.

The first batch for 2020 was definitely in compliance to that “uttermost part” of the world, haha! It was only accessible by motorbike, 100klms away from Glan, Sarangani which is also an hour away from General Santos airport. It is the southernmost municipality in the mainland of Mindanao Island and the 2nd largest municipality in Davao Occidental. With a poverty rate of 65%, most of the constituents had barely reached secondary level of education, but each of the attendees had a burning desire on how they could serve the Master to the maximum. In their poverty, they have a wealth of experience with unbelievers and it is whom their heart would beat just as Jesus Heartbeat is for lost souls. In their lack of knowledge dwells the abundance of desire to increase their limited arsenal of soul winning tools.

36 graduates including 9 pastors responded to God’s mandate of the Great Commission, and over 1,690 new souls were led to the Lord. These newly activated soul winners had their 20/20 vision clear for 2020, and that they all pledged to make evangelism a way of life, realizing that for them to bear fruit, they are to go and reach souls outside the four corners of their churches. They have been adamant and reluctant witnesses of the Lord, but now discovered that they are the legs and mouth of our King. Hallelujah!!!

God has given them breakthrough in so many areas of their life. For one, they have gladly exposed themselves to the English bible (as we are using our Soulmate Bible). Loralie was crying out of joy because for so many years, she wanted to share the Gospel to her Best friend, but does not know how to do it without spoiling the relationship, but thank God for the 357 Magnum Technique, she now found a non-confrontational and friendly method.

The students enjoyed the practicums despite the scorching heat of the sun and has been very focused listening to the lessons and did not even show being bothered with brownouts or electrical interruptions. They welcomed us very well and treated us as if their life depended on us. Truly, by God’s grace, we brought new life to these people who were transformed from meek and shy to bold and offensive in the area of soul winning.

Jonamis declared that he exudes an air of confidence now, as before the training, he has this inferiority complex and used to be timid. He used to be a regular church attender only, contented with Sunday service but now he found his purpose and how he can best serve GOD thru evangelism. And the greatest discovery he had during the seminar, was that, he needed to be born again himself! And he prayed the Salvation Prayer to receive Jesus!! Praise the Lord! Guess what, he’s now born again! Yeah!!!!

Pastora Charita, with her 7 leaders, had walked 3 hours to reach the venue because no means of transport available in their area. Speaking a dialect different to the rest of attendees, they were surprised they were able to master the technique. It is because of its simplicity! Now they can go back to their region to win unbelievers that are resisting receiving Jesus in their hearts. Who can contest Jesus command for them to be born again? John 3:7

One pastor who had just attained grade 3 in elementary education was so excited he felt like he was achieving a master’s degree as he is able to perfect the presentation. Truly, God is not a respecter of persons and He can use anyone in the harvest field.

Words will never be enough to contain how grateful and how privileged we are for being chosen to be equipping and empowering the Lord’s army. As we are in the last days, there is more urgency to reach out to God’s warriors and prepare them to win the battle. No buts, no ifs, no excuses, it must be done NOW even to the uttermost parts of the earth!!!

“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.“

For many years I thought that I understood this scripture in John 15:13. That it was meant solely for those that died while trying to save another’s life. It does mean that, but much more! There are so many instances in our lives where this applies. Moms and dads that give up their youthful dreams to make sure their children will later have the best chance to achieve theirs. My dad a high school principal died when I was 8 months old, just after World War II. My mother worked in a hot cafe kitchen for 17 years, all my youth to make sure we had food on the table and clothes on our backs and were able to go to school. We all know people who have done that. Pastors worldwide often live in abject poverty trying to keep the doors of their churches open, both for their flock and the lost. Missionaries have for centuries laid down their successful lives to follow the Lord into the mission field for a life time of service to the kingdom. Laying down your life for a friend has many applications!

Four young missionaries lay down their lives!

I want to share a story about 8 students in England in the eighteen hundreds whose lives exemplify this scripture! They all had graduated both from college and a mission school. All 8 felt the Call of God on their lives to serve Him abroad. They had prepared themselves through Bible college and mission school for four years. They were all completely dedicated and ready to spend the rest of their lives and die in the mission field. After graduation they began applying for support for their ministries. Each of them exhausted all their potential avenues for support. Times were hard financially for everyone (sound familiar), but the Call was burning in their hearts. They could not just give up and not go. Finally after months of failure and disappointment they prayed together and came up with a life solution and plan. Four of the young missionaries would go to the mission field and spend their lives doing what God had called them to do. The other four would stay home, take jobs and support the four that went. At that time, when missionaries went aboard their ship to go abroad they would load all their Bibles, materials and personal things they were taking into a coffin knowing they were not coming back. They knew they were laying down their lives as they boarded the overcrowded ship for the perilous journey.

Now, which of these 8 missionaries made the largest sacrifice laying down their lives? Was it the four that went and did what they had dreamed of doing from an early age, following the Lord into the mission field? Or the four that laid down their lives and took jobs and supported the others so they could go and do the work of the Lord? Both equally laid down their lives for a friend. I personally have always thought it would be harder to stay behind and make sure the others could go. You see you can lay down your life through supporting missionaries that are already in the field and serving the Lord! Wow, that hits me in my heart as I’m writing and actually crying as the Lord is giving it to me!

Calli and I laid our lives down 22 years ago to serve the Lord, ultimately being Called of God to the Philippines to help Pastors and leaders come out of abject poverty by training them how to build their churches through one on-one-evangelism! Amen?

Our mission was nearly cut short three and a half years ago when we lost everything we had built here in a tragic fire that took the life of our precious daughter Felicity. When our mission center burned we lost all our heirlooms, pictures, so many things from our lives that we had accumulated. The mission center was almost paid for at the time and was fully equipped for a school and accommodations for guest pastors and leaders to be trained there. It was God’s carrier in Asia, our permanent presence, ready to do battle with the enemy for men’s souls. When the fire hit and destroyed the center we were knocked down from the loss of our daughter, Felicity, and the disruption of losing our home and center. Six days after the fire, we shook the ashes off our feet and flew to Cagayon De Oro, on Mindanao Island and did a mobile seminar that was already in the plans before the fire. It was so hard, but we pushed through knowing the devil would like nothing better than to stop us right there. We had more than 3,100 people saved during that seminar. We had risen from the ashes to kick the devil where it hurts the worst. Stealing souls from him!

The new mission center is nearly finished and we are officially back from that devastating loss. The new center is a permanent presence here in Asia! We are continuing on in what God has called us to do, and we are expanding our work. Mobile seminars are now more the focus, but this coming year we hope to concentrate more on developing the video training for individuals to be able to train in their homes with our Stealth Evangelism Training Program. Do I hear an amen? There are more than 800 million born again Christians on this earth right now! A large percentage of them would love to know how to win a person to the Lord in 5 minutes. We hope to bring that to the everyday believer worldwide. You can help us get that done. Can you imagine the impact of mobilizing the body of Christ by putting the ultimate weapon in their hands to win souls?

Please consider laying down your life for the Gospel’s sake to reach the unreached across the world. If you’ve never supported this ministry, please think about being a missionary yourself by supporting us financially and in prayer. We will never stop as long as God gives us breath, and we need support monthly to do what we are doing. Again, I believe it’s harder to stay behind and support than it is to follow the Lord into the mission field! You can follow the Lord into the mission field yourself by supporting the training of God’s army. Please consider us in your year in giving to retire the approximately $55,000 of debt we have from the building of the new center. We are asking the Lord to pay that off this Christmas. Wow! What a Christmas present to the Lord. We will be debt free to do God’s work.
We love you all and wish you all the Merriest of Christmases this year knowing that the Kingdom of God is growing around the world!
